The Joint Innovation Center of CSIC Optoelectronics and Huawei has been officially established

It is reported that on May 18 this year, Sanan Optoelectronics and Huawei held a comprehensive cooperation agreement signing ceremony. The two parties plan to jointly build an innovation center and carry out all-round, in-depth cooperation in multiple niche sub-sectors of optoelectronic semiconductors and power semiconductors, including Mini/Micro LED and power devices.

Specifically, both parties are primarily carrying out technical innovation in Mini & Micro LED, automotive HUDs, smart healthy lighting, optocouplers and power devices, and non-visual light sources to expand future business coverage, while continuously deepening business cooperation in the existing two major areas of signal indication and smart terminals.

This cooperation is primarily based on Sanan Optoelectronics' technical advantages in LED display and backlighting, combined with Huawei's capabilities in AI, 5G, and other information technologies. Together with advanced domestic and international industry-university-research teams, they jointly promote the establishment and inauguration of the Joint Innovation Center.
