Dushi Suo's Achievements Featured at the Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival
On September 23, the 2022 Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival, themed "Celebrating the Harvest, Welcoming the Grand Event," kicked off at the Tianfu Agricultural Expo Park in Xinjin District, Chengdu. As the main venue of the Harvest Festival, Chengdu attached great importance to showcasing agricultural scientific and technological achievements, inviting the Institute of Urban Agriculture to comprehensively present the latest results in urban agriculture.
都市所选出了国际领先的“作物育种加速器”以及“都市立体菜园”、“家庭智慧园艺装备”等最新技术成果，分别在主场馆G1、G2、G3和现代都市农业馆展出。所展出的水稻、小麦、大豆、玉米等主粮作物育种加速器，通过LED光源精准调控、精准水肥管理等关键技术突破，实现生育期减半、60天左右收获。 "Crop Breeding Accelerator" "Urban Vertical Vegetable Gardens" and "Smart Home Gardening Equipment" demonstrate the expansion of agricultural functions into multi-layered vertical spaces, as well as the integration of agriculture into urban and household settings, providing effective technical support for the development of modern urban agriculture. During the Harvest Festival, Liu Huanxin, Deputy Director of the Office of the Central Rural Work Leading Group and Party Secretary and Director of the National Administration for Rural Revitalization; Wang Xiaohui, Secretary of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC; Huang Qiang, Governor of Sichuan Province; Shi Xiaolin, Member of the Standing Committee of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the CPC and Secretary of the Chengdu Municipal Committee of the CPC, and other leaders visited the achievements of the Urban Agriculture Institute one after another and gave high praise. They expressed the hope to further accelerate the promotion of these achievements to make positive contributions to building a higher-level "Tianfu Granary" and empowering rural revitalization with technology.
