2022 Shanghai Top 100 Enterprises List Released, Including These Lighting Companies...

On the afternoon of August 30, the Shanghai Federation of Enterprises, the Shanghai Association of Enterprises, the Shanghai Federation of Economic Groups, and Jiefang Daily jointly held the 2022 Shanghai Top 100 Enterprises Press Conference at the China Financial Information Center studio.

At the meeting, organizers released the 2022 Shanghai Top 100 Enterprises, 2022 Shanghai Top 100 Manufacturing Enterprises, 2022 Shanghai Top 100 Service Enterprises, 2022 Shanghai Top 100 Private Enterprises, 2022 Shanghai Top 100 Private Manufacturing Enterprises, 2022 Shanghai Top 100 Private Service Enterprises, 2022 Shanghai Top 100 Emerging Industry Enterprises, and 2022 Shanghai Top 100 Growth Enterprises rankings. Additionally, the 2022 Top 100 Enterprise Development Report and the 2022 Shanghai Top 100 Emerging Industry Development Report were released.

Based on the comprehensive list of top 100 enterprises and the development report, the overall performance of the top 100 enterprises in 2021 showed a strong trend of rapid growth.

First, the main operating indicators of Shanghai's Top 100 companies showed double-digit high growth . The revenue of Shanghai's Top 100 enterprises exceeded 9 trillion yuan for the first time, reaching 9659.52 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.06%. The entry threshold rose from 8.4 billion yuan last year to 8.8 billion yuan this year.

Secondly, the emerging industries have maintained a high-speed growth trend, becoming an important force driving the development of the top 100 enterprises. The emerging industries top 100 list is the series of top 100 enterprise lists released today with the highest growth rate in operating performance; its performance is bright and eye-catching, with a strong and rapid growth momentum. Revenue has broken through the trillion-yuan threshold for the first time, reaching 13472.8 billion yuan, with a growth rate of 33.58%; net profit reached 713.7 billion yuan, with a growth rate of 38.56%, an increase more than double that of Shanghai's top 100.

Third, both the top 100 manufacturing enterprises and the top 100 service enterprises achieved high growth. The revenue of the top 100 manufacturing enterprises reached 377,84.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 19.06%; the revenue of the top 100 service enterprises reached 52,817.0 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.36%.

Fourth, the revenue of the top 100 private enterprises grew rapidly. In 2021, the revenue of the top 100 private enterprises reached 2533.84 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 21.86%; net profit reached 138.24 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 9.23%. The main reason for the decline in net profit of the top 100 private enterprises was that some e-commerce platform companies incurred significant losses and real estate companies experienced a large drop in net profit, causing an overall decline in net profit; the growth in net profit of other private enterprises was basically normal.
