Public consultation launched on the review conclusions of 12 additional lighting-related industry standards

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) publicly solicited opinions on the review conclusions of 4,194 industry standards, including the "Guidelines for Social Responsibility in the Electronic Information Industry," in accordance with the requirements and procedures for the review of industry standards stipulated in the "Administrative Measures for the Formulation of Industry Standards in the Industrial and Communications Sectors." The MIIT has organized the review of industry standards that have been in effect for more than five years.

After review by relevant industry associations and standardization technical organizations, the conclusion on the re-examination of 4,194 industry standards across 16 sectors including light industry has been formulated. This includes 12 lighting-related industry standards . "Switches for LED energy-saving luminaires", "Electronic control devices for luminaire switches", "Electronic ballasts for automotive high-voltage gas discharge lamps", "Overall illumination requirements for civil aircraft instruments", "Lighting design standard for the electronic information industry", and "Overall illumination requirements for civil aircraft instruments" (listed twice) are 6 standards that will remain valid. "Emergency evacuation lighting requirements for civil aircraft", "Cabin lighting requirements for civil aircraft", "Test methods for vehicle headlights for engineering machinery", "Headlights for engineering machinery", "Marine communication flashing signal lights", and "Marine fluorescent lighting luminaires" are 6 standards proposed for revision.
