Multiple lighting companies win major awards! Congratulations!

On August 9, 2022, the Second Council Meeting of the Fifth Session of the China National Light Industry Council and the Second Council Meeting of the Eighth Session of the All-China Federation of Handicraft Cooperatives were held at the Beijing Friendship Hotel.

Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the Conference theme fully implements the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and all its plenary sessions. It comprehensively, accurately, and thoroughly applies the new development philosophy, serves the construction of a new development pattern, and promotes high-quality development of the light industry and the collective economy. It contributes to stabilizing the overall economy and keeping economic operation within a reasonable range, welcoming the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China with concrete actions.

Zhang Chonghe, President of the China National Light Industry Council and Director of the All-China Handicraft Industrial Cooperative General Society, delivered the work report to the council. He Yaqiong, Director of the Consumer Goods Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, attended and delivered remarks. He Ye, Vice President of the China National Light Industry Council and Chairman of China Association of Lighting Industry（中国照明电器协会）, attended and read out the commendation decision for the "2021 China National Light Industry Council Science and Technology Award," honoring scientific and technical personnel and organizations that have made significant contributions to technological progress in China's light industry, economic and social development, and the modernization of the light industry sector. Liu Shengping, Executive Chairman of China Association of Lighting Industry（中国照明电器协会）, attended the meeting.

During the conference, plaques were awarded to the Public Service Demonstration Platforms for SMEs in the light industry sector and to Light Industry Industrial Clusters, and the 2021 China National Light Industry Council Science and Technology Awards were presented.

Among them, four projects from ten lighting-related institutions, including Hengdian Group Tospo Lighting Co., Ltd., Zhangzhou Leedarson Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd., Shanghai Yaming Lighting Co., Ltd., Shanghai Belling Semiconductor Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Institute of Technology, won the 2021 China National Light Industry Council Technical Invention Award and Science and Technology Progress Award.

Zhongshan Quality and Metrology Supervision and Testing Institute in Guangdong Province, an outstanding organization in the lighting industry, has been recognized as a public service demonstration platform for small and medium-sized enterprises in the light industry for 2022.
