The lighting industry's first "zero-carbon booth" debuts at GILE!

On August 4, 2022, the Zhongzhu Tianyou Zero Carbon Launch Ceremony was grandly held at the GILE (Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition). Cai Wenmin, Deputy Dean of the Guangzhou Institute of Carbon Neutrality Science and Research, and Zhang Yanlong attended the conference and presented the "Carbon Neutrality Cancellation Certificate" to Zhongzhu Tianyou. This certifies that the greenhouse gas emissions generated by Zhongzhu Tianyou during its participation in GILE were successfully cancelled through the National Voluntary Emission Reduction and Emissions Trading Registration System, amounting to 7 tons of carbon dioxide reductions, thereby achieving zero carbon emissions. This also signifies that the Zhongzhu Tianyou booth has become the first "Zero Carbon Booth" in China's lighting industry to receive authoritative Certification, and it is the first corporate booth to achieve zero carbon emissions in the 27-year history of GILE.

Stunning debut at first exhibition
"Zhongzhu Tianyou made its debut at GILE, carrying out extensive detailed preparations. The final decision to adopt the theme 'Zero-Carbon Zhongzhu, Smart Lighting for Every Home' aligns with current trends in green development and digital and intelligent transformation," said Chen Rubing, General Manager of Zhongzhu Tianyou.

Zhongzhu Tianyou showcased three major business segments at this exhibition: "Digital New Infrastructure, Ecological Night Economy, and Healthy Net-Zero Carbon." Integrating advanced technologies such as IoT, big data analytics, digital twins, AI, and cloud computing, and leveraging a cloud-based smart enablement platform, the company attracted significant attention with its novel and intuitive display at the event.
It is reported that Zhongzhu Tianyou, through close cooperation and joint research with the Guangzhou Carbon Neutrality Research Institute, integrated the zero-carbon concept throughout the entire process—from exhibition hall design to construction and material production—creating the first "zero-carbon" themed booth in the history of GILE (Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition) based on the principles of health, zero carbon, and environmental protection.
Opportunities for Dual Carbon Development
Currently, against the strategic backdrop of addressing global climate change and promoting sustainable economic development, with the successive establishment of national and local policy frameworks and the launch of the world's largest carbon market, the "dual carbon" Industry is ushering in a historic, once-in-a-lifetime development opportunity.

Cai Wenmin, Deputy Director of Guangzhou Carbon Neutrality Science Research Institute
At the press conference, Cai Wenmin, Deputy Director of the Guangzhou Institute of Carbon Neutrality Science, stated that cities are the largest application scenario for achieving the "dual carbon" goals. The construction of smart cities has become a powerful lever for the comprehensive implementation of the "dual carbon" strategy, and urban digital transformation helps achieve energy saving and emission reduction in various scenarios.

Tan Bo, General Manager of the New Infrastructure Business Division of Zhongzhu Tianyou
In response to market changes, Tan Bo, General Manager of the New Infrastructure Business Division of Zhongzhu Tianyou, stated that Zhongzhu Tianyou will respond to the national call and strive to be a pioneer in low-carbon Industry.
