What does the 2.0 version of smart streetlights look like? Recently, the demonstration site for smart streetlight application scenarios on Tanqiao Road, Jin'an District, Fuzhou, has been basically completed. There are 58 units of 2.0 version smart streetlights along a 920-meter road; they not only have an attractive appearance but also help improve urban quality of life.

Tanqiao Road is the main thoroughfare of the complete district developed in Jin'an District in recent years. Recently, when visiting the site, we saw that the smart street light poles on Tanqiao Road are not just simple street light poles; they also include supporting components such as electric vehicle charging stations, LED screens, and seating.

E-bike Charging System

The e-bike charging system is located on the sidewalk. In line with the design concept, this component not only provides convenient charging points for citizens but also standardizes the parking of e-bikes.

Stylish smart seating provides pedestrians with a brief resting spot while also offering wireless phone charging and media playback.

According to relevant personnel, the Tanqiao Road smart pole demonstration project belongs to Phase I of the smart pole construction in the Jiangbei area of Fuzhou City and is basically completed: " The 58 smart poles on Tanqiao Road realize multiple application scenarios, such as smart lighting management, smart seats, video warning, charging piles, LED screens, city broadcasting, electric vehicle charging, social media, etc. . Compared with previously built smart poles, the application scenarios are more complete. For example, our poles integrate AC charging piles for new energy vehicles , and after power is supplied in the future, they can serve as supplementary points for new energy vehicle charging stations."

It is reported that the first phase of smart pole construction in the Jiangbei area of Fuzhou City was launched at the end of last year, mainly covering two areas: Minjiang North CBD and Helin. Among them, the Helin area includes 7 roads, with a total smart pole renovation road length of approximately 8 kilometers, resulting in 455 smart poles being renovated . The Minjiang North CBD area is located in Taijiang District, includes 8 roads, with a total smart pole renovation road length of approximately 5.3 kilometers, resulting in 316 smart poles being renovated .
