Top Ten Excellent Cases of Innovative Applications in Smart City Smart Multi-Function Pole Systems

At 10:00 am on June 17, the 'Smart City Smart Multi-Function Pole System Innovative Application Excellent Case Promotion Campaign' officially began, with over 1,500 audience members participating in the learning.

Gao Hong, Director of the Energy Conservation Management Division of the National Energy Conservation Center, delivered an excellent speech:

The National Energy Conservation Center has always been committed to promoting energy conservation, improving energy efficiency and green development. Green lighting retrofitting of urban roads is a key long-term focus and initiative of our center.

To accelerate the construction of green smart cities, standardize the overall technical requirements for urban smart multi-function pole systems, and provide technical references for planning, design, construction, and operation and maintenance of smart multi-function pole systems, we previously organized a collection of outstanding cases for innovative applications of smart city smart multi-function pole systems based on the principles of open solicitation and selective selection. After case declaration, preliminary screening, expert review, credit verification, online publicity, and other steps, combined with user unit opinions and field inspections, we selected 10 projects as "Outstanding Cases of Innovative Applications of Smart City Smart Multi-Function Pole Systems".

Through case promotion activities, we will sequentially invite responsible persons from relevant enterprises. We hope everyone can actively participate, exchange and share experiences of outstanding cases, increase mutual communication and exchange between enterprises, jointly promote the healthy development of the smart multi-function pole industry, and create a good industry atmosphere.

Jiangsu Nanjing Youth Olympic Area Smart City Showcase Engineering Project;

Jiangsu Nanjing Confucius Temple Scenic Area Smart Streetlight Engineering Upgrade Project;

Jiangxi Ganjiang New District Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Innovation City Convention Center Surrounding Roads Smart Lighting 5G Demonstration Application Project (Phase I);

Smart streetlights in Wuzhen, Zhejiang; smart poles in Jiaxing Zhichuang Park project;

Smart streetlight engineering project on Hubin Road, West Lake, Hangzhou, Zhejiang;

LED energy-saving demonstration road network engineering EPC general contracting project in Nanchang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Jiangxi;

Smart pole project on Dayou Street, Liandu District, Lishui City, Zhejiang Province;

The first case study was analyzed by Senior Engineer Huang Liben, Deputy General Manager of Jiangsu Future City Public Space Development and Operation Co., Ltd., who provided a detailed text, image, and video explanation of the "Jiangsu Nanjing Youth Olympic District Smart City Demonstration Zone Engineering Project&Jiangsu Nanjing Confucius Temple Scenic Area Smart Streetlight Upgrade Engineering Project".

Energy saving data:

Steel savings, pole consolidation rate reaches 40%, reducing over 400 poles and saving approximately 200 tons of steel (based on the weight of street light poles of about 8 meters);

Lighting energy saving, installing single-lamp controllers on existing LED street lights can achieve a secondary energy saving of 30%;

After the renovation of the Youth Olympic Park demonstration zone, staff and vehicle inputs were reduced by about 30%, saving approximately 84,000 yuan in annual maintenance costs.

2. Jiangsu Nanjing Confucius Temple Scenic Area Smart Streetlight Engineering Project

Energy saving data:

Steel savings, the total pole sharing rate in Confucius Temple Scenic Area reached 100%; approximately 5.4 tons of steel saved (36 poles, estimated based on the weight of 5-meter poles);

Lighting energy saving, replacing original 100W sodium lamps with 30W LED luminaires; energy saved is approximately 36*0.07kw*4150h=10458kw·h;

Management efficiency improvement, smart lighting operation and maintenance enhancement, perfect video surveillance network, direct connection between emergency calls and management terminals, real-time news and tour guide information push, dense environmental monitoring "Sky Eye", 5G micro stations complete signal coverage, security broadcast and video linkage.
