GILE2022 | Observing All Directions, Leading the New Track – The First "Biological Lighting Demonstration Zone" Arrives with Many Highlights!

From August 3 to 6, 2022, the 27th Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as GILE) made a strong comeback. At this exhibition, GILE partnered with the Shenzhen Facility Agriculture Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as Shenzhen Facility Agriculture Association) to create the "Biological Lighting Demonstration Zone," China's first professional biological lighting exhibition, which attracted leading domestic and international biological lighting companies to participate actively. Concurrently, the 2nd China Biological Lighting Technology Forum will be held for three days, inviting more than twenty renowned experts and scholars from home and abroad to jointly discuss the application and development of biological lighting technology, thereby further promoting industry standards and driving the healthy and sustainable development of the industry.

As the world's most influential professional lighting exhibition, GILE has always led global lighting trends. Bio-lighting is hailed as the next big opportunity in the lighting industry, with Chinese bio-lighting products holding an 80% share of the global market. At this year's GILE, Hall 4.2 will feature a brand-new exhibition-within-an-exhibition – the Bio-lighting Demonstration Area . This is China's first and most professional bio-lighting exhibition, jointly created by GILE and the Shenzhen Agriculture Association in response to market demand. Its purpose is to allow leading bio-lighting enterprises to showcase their latest technologies and products, leverage the industrial driving and demonstration effect of industry leaders, and promote technological innovation in the industry.

Concurrently, the 2nd China Bio-lighting Technology Forum will be held for three days in Hall 4.2 of Area A. The professional caliber and insightful presentations of the inaugural 2021 China Bio-lighting Technology Forum significantly advanced industry development. This year's forum, while continuing to focus on popular bio-lighting technologies, has invited over twenty domestic and international experts and scholars to deliver keynote speeches. They will jointly explore topics such as national agricultural policies and future agricultural development trends, the market size and industrial direction of bio-lighting, integration of industry resources, as well as SSL and new growth points for the next decade, thereby further promoting industry standards and advancing industry development concepts.

As a heavyweight themed exhibition of GILE this year, the Bio-lighting Demonstration Zone brings together leading bio-manufacturing enterprises showcasing cutting-edge technologies. The Second China Biological Lighting Technology Forum, held concurrently, will host specialized forums over three days focusing on five major areas of biological lighting: plant factory technology, industrial hemp spectrum technology, biological lighting technology sessions, aquaculture and aquatic lighting, and photovoltaic agriculture and healthy lighting. These sessions will facilitate in-depth exchanges, provide professional technical guidance for industry development, and establish a high-level, high-caliber platform for technical exchange in the field of biological lighting.

In five professional forums, including Ms. Kuang Tingyun, researcher at the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Mr. Toyoki Kozai, Honorary President of the Japanese Society for Plant Factory, as well as a number of well-known university professors and experts in biological lighting from home and abroad will deliver keynote speeches, jointly creating a feast of knowledge in the field of biological lighting, providing the most cutting-edge technical nutrients and professional theoretical guidance and support for biological lighting.
