According to the website of the Anhui Provincial Defective Product Recall Management Technology Center, Taili (Anhui) Electric has recalled some non-compliant LED downlights. The cross-sectional area of the external wiring of the related products does not meet the standards, totaling 1,600 units.

According to the recall notice, Taili (Anhui) Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. has filed a recall plan with the Anhui Provincial Administration for Market Regulation and the Fuyang Municipal Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the "Interim Provisions on the Administration of Consumer Product Recalls". Effective immediately, it will recall 1,300 units of TLD-TFB-05B LED downlights produced on April 10, 2021, and 300 units of TLD-TT-05C LED downlights produced on May 27, 2019.

The external wiring cross-sectional area of the LED downlights within the scope of this recall does not comply with the requirements of GB7000.1-2015 and GB7000.202-2008. During use, consumers may experience circuit overload and overheating, which could even cause a fire, posing a safety hazard.

Taili (Anhui) Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. will eliminate safety hazards by offering free returns or replacing the product with a brand-new LED downlight that meets safety requirements.
