Official Announcement: Songsheng Shares has reached a strategic cooperation agreement with the Institute of Urban Agriculture, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences!

On May 13, the Shenzhen Lighting and Display Engineering Industry Association and the Institute of Urban Agriculture, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences jointly hosted the World Plant Factory Light Environment Industry Forum, and held a strategic cooperation agreement signing ceremony for the horticultural lighting industry . The Institute of Urban Agriculture, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, along with key upstream and downstream enterprises in the horticultural lighting industry such as Songsheng Shares, jointly signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Both parties reached strategic cooperation intentions in areas such as industry-academia-research collaboration and transformation of scientific research achievements. Yang Qichang, Party Secretary of the Institute of Urban Agriculture, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Academician of the International Eurasian Academy of Sciences, and Tian Nianbin, Chairman of Songsheng Shares, attended the signing ceremony.

At the World Plant Factory Lighting Industry Forum held that day, Academician Yang Qichang delivered an important presentation on the topic "Progress and Trends in Agricultural LED and Plant Factories" , thoroughly elaborating on the main forms of future agriculture, the application of artificial light sources in future agriculture, research pathways for LED plant factory technology, and expressing his vision and hope for enterprises to explore from the production, application, consumption, and market ends, achieving effective alignment between technology and industry, and empowering future agriculture through technological innovation.

On May 14, Academician Yang Qichang from the Institute of Urban Agriculture, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences visited Songsheng Co., Ltd. and held extensive cooperation exchanges with Songsheng's senior management team. Academician Yang affirmed Songsheng's overall achievements in products, R&D, technology, and market over the past decade, and expressed high recognition for Songsheng's product technology, business development, and future strategy in the field of horticultural lighting power supplies . He will further engage in deep industry-academia-research cooperation with Songsheng to jointly promote the application of LED drivers and related technologies in future agricultural fields. Songsheng's senior management team stated that they will take this cooperation as an opportunity to continue deepening research and exploration in the field of LED horticultural lighting power supplies and related product technologies, contributing Songsheng's strength to modern agricultural development.

Finally, Academician Yang Qichang and his delegation visited Songsheng's Technology Center and the Horticultural Lighting Power Supply Laboratory, providing professional guidance and requirements on the future applications and development paths of the company's LED horticultural lighting drivers and related technologies. The leaders who also conducted this on-site inspection included Wang Sen, Associate Researcher at the Institute of Urban Agriculture, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences; Chen Yansheng, Chairman of the 8th Term of the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI); Wen Qidong, Deputy Secretary-General of the CALI; and Zeng Xiaolan, President of the Shenzhen Lighting and Display Engineering Industry Association.

To continuously promote technological innovation and market development in the design of agricultural lighting luminaires, and to advance the level of smart agriculture in China, the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI) and the People's Government of Guzhen Town, Zhongshan City are jointly organizing the "2022 China International Lighting/Luminaire Design Competition - Agricultural Lighting Category" this year. The event is co-organized by the Secretariat of the China International Lighting and Luminaire Design Competition, the Agricultural Lighting Professional Committee of CALI, China Light Network, and the Agricultural Lighting Network.
