The list of winners for another lighting design award has been announced; three projects from China are on the list!
[d]arc Lighting Awards ([d]arc awards) are jointly established by two renowned lighting design magazines, "arc" and "darc", in collaboration with the lighting creative agency Light Collective, dedicated to creating a unique opportunity to recognize outstanding lighting practices globally.
This issue compiles the winners of the 2021 [d]arc Lighting Awards in five categories: structural outdoor/indoor/landscape lighting (low/high budget), art installation lighting (low/high budget/custom), and event lighting. According to statistics, a total of 50 projects won the 2021 [d]arc Lighting Awards (excluding lighting products), including 3 Chinese projects, accounting for 6%.
The 2021 [d]arc Lighting Awards BEST OF THE BEST was won by the Bath Abbey project, designed by Michael Grubb Studio. Additionally, the Chinese projects on the list include God of Teppanyaki, designed by Tino Kwan Lighting Consultants; Xianshi Dynamic, designed by Jizhi Design & Shiyang Architects; and Fuxian Lake · Starry Sky Town, designed by Zhaoyiheng Lighting Design (Beijing) Co., Ltd.
