Traxon Technologies acquires the Dynamic lighting business of AMS OSRAM

Recently, ams OSRAM announced an agreement to sell the Traxon Technologies business, including its world-leading dynamic lighting control business e:cue , to Prosperity Group (Youchang Group) . This transaction does not include ams OSRAM light sources and technologies.

According to available data, Wing On Group was established in Hong Kong in 1978. ams OSRAM states that the company will continue to focus on high-tech semiconductor business. This transaction marks another important step in its strategic roadmap. In the future, the company will continue to focus on core technology areas such as light sources, visualization, and sensing, while divesting non-strategic core businesses.

ams OSRAM reported revenue of €1.25 billion (approximately RMB 8.86 billion) in the first quarter of 2022, representing a 1.4% increase compared to Q4 2021 and a 3% decrease compared to the same period in 2021. Adjusted group net income for the first quarter was €102 million, compared to €119 million in Q4 2021 and €74 million in the same period of 2021.
