II. What is the foundation of the inaugural exhibition?

Although the CLITI exhibition is being held for the first time, the China Association of Lighting Industry（中国照明电器协会） has a long-standing history of participating in industry trade shows. Established in 1989, the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI) is the only national 5A-level social organization registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs for the lighting industry. It is also a founding member and vice-chair unit of the Global Lighting Association (GLA). First, as the home for lighting enterprises, the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI) demonstrates the responsibility expected of a national-level industry association. A case in point: in March 2020, Light + Building in Frankfurt was about to open but was urgently postponed due to the spread of COVID-19. Despite significant costs already incurred, the Association, as the organizing entity, absorbed losses amounting to hundreds of thousands of yuan for flight bookings, hotel reservations, booth construction, and more, thereby fully protecting the interests of the participating companies and demonstrating its commitment as a responsible organization.
