Overcoming Difficulties Together! Caring Enterprises Donate Funds and Supplies to Support Epidemic Prevention and Control

Shanghai is currently facing a complex and severe test from new outbreaks of the epidemic. Affected by the epidemic, Shanghai Lighting City has issued a notice adjusting business hours, stating that Shanghai Lighting City will temporarily suspend operations from April 1 to April 5, 2022.

In addition, on the morning of March 28, Shanghai Luminaire City joined hands with OPPLE Lighting Shanghai Operation Center to donate this batch of emergency desk lamps worth more than 20,000 yuan to the Emergency Management Bureau through the Shanghai Producer Services Promotion Association. The donation was received by China Post on behalf of the bureau and will be used to support Shanghai's new round of epidemic prevention and control efforts, contributing love and care to the cause.

According to reports, upon learning that the community urgently needed LED rechargeable bulb lamps, Shanghai Pudong Smart Lighting Federation immediately decided to make a charitable donation to support epidemic prevention and control. This initiative received strong cooperation and support from OPPLE Lighting, which donated a batch of charitable supplies, OPPLE rechargeable LED bulb lamps, to the Shanghai Yangjing Community Public Welfare Foundation on March 26.

As a Shanghai-based enterprise and a "Shanghai Brand," on March 23, Sansi donated batches of portable UV disinfection lamps to the Shanghai Social Welfare Center and the Shanghai Lighting Electrical Industry Association respectively. These are used for epidemic prevention in welfare institutions and for air disinfection in some residential communities, public places, and epidemic prevention points, creating a safe environment for epidemic control. It is reported that this Sansi portable UV disinfection lamp uses 254nm wavelength germicidal UV light to effectively eliminate bacteria in the air within a certain spatial range.

In addition, the epidemic prevention and control situation in Jilin Province is particularly severe and complex, concerning the entire nation. It is reported that local markets such as Zhangshi Luminaire City, Xingshun Luminaire City, Beijing Shilihe Decorative Lighting City (Shenyang Branch), New North Home Plaza, and Shenyang Tiexi Furniture City have all suspended operations.

On March 13, Changchun City mobilized various resources to rapidly build makeshift hospitals. NVC Lighting received a request for supplies to construct the Xinglongshan makeshift hospital. The Jilin Operations Center responded quickly with emergency coordination, established an online special task force, and fully allocated lighting luminaires to meet the needs of the makeshift hospital.

From receiving the notice to final delivery, NVC Lighting's Jilin Operation Center completed the allocation of personnel, vehicles, and products in just 1 day, delivering over 600 ceiling lights, 3,000 bracket light sets, and a full set of emergency lighting and evacuation indicator luminaires to the customer that same evening. On March 27, Changchun's largest makeshift hospital to date – the Xinglongshan Fangcang Hospital – was put into operation.

On March 23, Shanxi Zhongke Lu'an Ultraviolet Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. donated deep UV LED epidemic prevention supplies worth over 700,000 yuan, urgently dispatched from Changzhi, Shanxi to Changchun, Jilin Province, to support the final victory in the fight against the epidemic.

This donation consists of deep ultraviolet LED anti-epidemic supplies produced by Zhongke Lu'an, including 1 package disinfection machine, 30 air disinfection machines, 100 spoon and chopstick disinfection boxes, and 100 handheld disinfectors, with a total value of over 700,000 yuan. These items were directly donated to Northeast Normal University and Changchun University of Science and Technology through the Jilin Provincial Red Cross Society, contributing to scientific epidemic prevention in universities in Jilin Province, reducing the risk of COVID-19 transmission on campuses, and supporting the fight against the epidemic in Jilin Province. Research conducted by national authoritative testing institutions has confirmed that Zhongke Lu'an's solid-state deep ultraviolet LED light sources have a highly effective killing effect on the novel coronavirus.
