Vice Chairman Liu Shengping met with the China Battery Industry Association to explore new ideas for collaborative industry development

On February 15, Liu Shengping, Vice President of the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI), and his delegation met with Liu Baosheng, President of the China Battery Industry Association. Both sides held a friendly and cordial discussion on strengthening industry collaboration to jointly promote industrial development. Wang Zhuo, Secretary-General of CALI, and Zhu Yeyun, Secretary-General of the China Battery Industry Association, attended the symposium.

Vice President Liu Shengping conveyed greetings from Chairman He Ye and introduced the development of the lighting industry and the key work of the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI) in 2022; Chairman Liu Baosheng introduced the development of the battery industry and current measures. Chairman Liu Shengping noted that batteries and lighting are sibling industries; with technological and market advancements, various battery products and energy storage technologies are widely applied in off-grid lighting products such as street lights, emergency lighting, and desk lamps, while their respective products and technologies mutually promote each other.

Both parties agreed that the two associations have a solid industry foundation and very broad cooperation space. In particular, there is not only a historical foundation for collaborative development between the lighting industry and the battery industry, but also a platform for technological innovation cooperation. In the future, there is great potential in jointly promoting industry technological innovation, green development, and other areas. Both parties stated that through technical exchanges, forums, exhibitions, and other forms, the two associations can further build cross-industry technology and trade docking, integrate various resources across fields of both sides via the association platform, and possess broad cooperation prospects. Through new ideas of collaborative development, empower industry development, enhance service quality for members, and jointly achieve high-quality mutual benefit and win-win development for the industry.
