The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology approved and released multiple industry standards and metrology technical specifications related to the lighting sector.

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology approved 513 industry standards, 123 technical specifications for industry metrology, 2 amendments to industry standards, and 10 foreign-language versions of industry standards, covering multiple industrial sectors including light industry, machinery, chemical industry, and building materials.

Among them, there are 2 lighting-related industry standards, including "Addition-cure Silicone Sealant for LED Lighting Devices" and "Xenon Lamp Tungsten Cathode"; as well as 3 lighting-related metrology technical specifications, including "Calibration Specification for Simulated Daylighting in Cotton Grading Rooms", "Calibration Specification for Low-pressure Sodium Lamp Light Source Used in Verification of Abbe Refractometers", and "Calibration Specification for Semiconductor Laser Controllers".

The above standards will officially come into effect on April 1, 2022. Relevant enterprises are advised to take note. The China Lighting Association has compiled and organized this information (for more details, click "Read Original Article" below) for your reference.
