On December 28, Wen Qidong, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI), was invited to attend the "JD Lighting Design Service Launch Conference" hosted by JD.com's Home Business Division, and delivered a keynote report titled "Current Status and Development Trends of China's Lighting Industry" to the attendees.

Deputy Secretary-General Wen Qidong pointed out in his report that smart lighting is currently in the early stage of deploying interconnected terminal lighting devices. Although the current penetration rate of smart lighting is not high, it holds great potential. The development of smart systems also brings more added value and room for imagination to the lighting industry. As for the currently popular "main-light-free" trend in the industry, it is a design style, or rather a concept, not simply the removal of main lights. It reflects a systematic approach in lighting design, better aligning with the market demand for minimalist styles. Whether implementing indirect or direct lighting, accent lighting or flood lighting, it requires the combination and coordination of various products and techniques. Most importantly, lighting design should be implemented based on customer needs and application scenarios.

At the end of the report, he briefly introduced the "2022 China (Shenzhen) Lighting Industry Chain Technological Innovation Exhibition" to be held in Shenzhen from September 14-16, 2022 by the China Association of Lighting Industry. We welcome professionals in the industry to pay close attention and actively participate.
