Ethereal Tower, Graceful Elegance

The Luoyang Zhongyuan Pearl TV Tower, also known as the Luoshen Tower, is an iconic landmark of Luoyang City. Located in Luopu Park in the Xigong District of Luoyang, adjacent to the Luo River and at the center of the city's central axis, the tower stands 278 meters tall, making it the tallest building in Luoyang. The project aims to leverage Panda Lighting's lighting design to transform the tower into a city card that showcases Luoyang's graceful elegance and magnificent charm.

Panda Lighting integrates the night lighting design of Luoshen Tower into the beauty of Luoshen, described as "graceful like light clouds veiling the moon, swaying like swirling snow in the wind." The tower tip uses linear lights to outline the edges of the steel structure, supplemented by floodlights to depict Luoshen's left hand. The sphere uses high-power point light sources to simulate Luoshen's head, while the tower body uses low-power point light sources with dynamic changes to simulate Luoshen's graceful posture, meaning "Luoshen descends, about to land on the peony, gazing at the waters of the Luo River, raising her left hand to bring auspicious light to the earth."

In addition, since the tower body is a curved hollow steel structure with high wind speeds at altitude, and considering that conventional welding methods may affect the structural strength of the tower, the technical requirements are high and installation is difficult. Panda Lighting, through continuous simulation calculations and prototype production, ultimately adopted custom aluminum profiles as the base material for point light source installation, customized various sizes of fixed connectors along the tower structure, and did not use any welding during the entire tower installation process, achieving a high degree of coordination in craftsmanship, manufacturing, and aesthetics.

Panda Lighting adheres to the concept of "environmental protection and energy saving," considering environmental protection and energy saving in all aspects from lighting design to product selection. This project uses approximately 350,000 point light sources, 1,200 linear lights, and 200 floodlights.
