The Nanjing Bridge has opened, and its lighting effects are stunning!

With the rapid development of China's urban economic construction and the continuous improvement of the urban environment, urban lighting, as a crucial aspect of urban environmental development, is receiving increasing attention from urban builders and managers. As part of the urban landscape, bridges should possess both aesthetic and decorative qualities. We focus on expressing the bridge structure, using art to showcase the bridge's nighttime appearance without altering its original style, structure, or layout, thereby highlighting the landscape function inherent in the bridge's own charm.

Recently, Nanjing CEC Panda Lighting Co., Ltd. is about to successfully complete the lighting (construction only) project for the Puyi Bridge.

The landscape lighting for the entire Puyi Highway West Section Cross-River Bridge, located in the Jiangbei New Area of Nanjing City. The Jiajiang Bridge has a total length of 2100 meters, with a main bridge span of 960 meters and a total deck width of 54.4 meters. The approach bridge towards Pukou is 810 meters long, and the approach bridge towards Yizheng is 330 meters long. Scope: LK/AK 5+729.901-LK/AK 7+829.901.

The landscape lighting design emphasizes the bridge's novel and concise structural features. High-power full-color floodlights highlight the distinctive shapes of the two towers, creating a refreshing impression on the river surface at night. Narrow-beam spotlights project onto the outer cable-stayed surfaces, accentuating the umbrella-like form with a lively and elegant effect.

For the main bridge of this project, 64 sets of pole-mounted full-color floodlights are used at the two main tower columns to illuminate the entire towers; 120 sets of beam lights are installed at the bottom of the stay cables to illuminate the entire cables; 32 sets of floodlights are used to wash-light the two main tower piers; 32 sets of floodlights are used to wash-light the transition piers and auxiliary piers; and 4,544 sets of wall washers are used to illuminate the side webs of the main bridge and approach bridges.
