Three national standard plans related to lighting have been released, covering smart multi-function poles and landscape lighting.

Recently, the Standardization Administration of China released the third batch of recommended National standard (mandatory / recommended) plans for 2021 and the plan for foreign-language versions of 46 standards. This batch includes a total of 374 recommended National standard (mandatory / recommended) items, comprising 244 new developments and 130 revisions, with 361 recommended standards and 13 guiding technical documents.


It involves three recommended national standard plans related to lighting, including "Electrotechnical terminology - Lighting", "Smart city - General requirements for smart multi-function pole systems", and "Urban lightscape - Service specifications for operation and maintenance of lighting facilities", as detailed below.
