Announcement of Winning Works for the "2021 China International Lighting Luminaire Design Competition · Agricultural Luminaire Award"
Organized by the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI), with co-organization by the Agricultural Lighting Committee of CALI, the International Lighting Fixture Design Competition Website, China Light Network, and Agricultural Lighting Network, the review work for "2021 International Lighting Fixture Design Competition · Agricultural Lighting Fixture Award" concluded on 2021 year 8 month 26 day.
This event received strong support from the Institute of Urban Agriculture, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences; the Talent Training Work Committee of the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI); and the Optoelectronic Devices Professional Committee of the China Association of Lighting Industry. Since the launch ceremony on 2021 year 2 month 22 day, the event has gone through two stages: online voting and expert review. In the online selection, a total of 307050 votes were cast to evaluate 36 competing entries.

Due to the impact of the pandemic, this event's expert review was conducted through centralized online meetings and video seminars, with lively expert discussions.
The expert review team includes: Ms. Liu Shengping, Vice President of the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI); Dr. Zhang Wei, Deputy Director of the Standards Laboratory at the National Electric Light Source Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Beijing) ; Dr. Bao Shunshu, Deputy Chief Engineer and Researcher at the Institute of Facility Agriculture, Planning and Design Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs; Dr. Zhuang Xiaobo, Deputy Director of the Quality Technology Department and Technical Leader at the National Luminaire Quality Supervision and Inspection Center; Dr. Tong Yuxin, Associate Researcher at the Institute of Agricultural Environment and Sustainable Development, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences; Mr. Wen Qidong, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI); and Mr. Hong Bing, Secretary-General of the Agricultural Lighting Professional Committee of the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI). Leaders and staff from the High-tech Industrial Park in Zhonglou District, Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province (Zouqu Town) supervised the entire selection process online.
Ms. Liu Shengping, head of the expert review committee, believes that among the entries for the China International Lighting Fixture Design Competition · Agricultural Lighting Fixture Award, there are indeed some good ideas, designs, technologies, and applications. The participating experts were responsible and serious, providing oversight from different angles, leveraging their respective professional expertise, carefully reviewing and studying each entry, being accountable both to the authors and to the competition activities.
Ultimately, 12 entries were selected as outstanding works, including 3 in the residential category and 9 in the commercial category. The award-winning works will be recommended for the first, second, and third prize evaluations in the functional category of the China International Lighting Luminaire Design Competition. The awards ceremony and recognition event will be grandly held in Guzhen Town, Zhongshan City, in late 2021, October.

adopts LED full-spectrum bulbs, whose presented spectrum is closer to the visible spectrum components in sunlight. Indoor use is healthier than products with red-blue spectra. Long-term exposure to scattered red-blue light easily causes discomfort. The flicker-free power supply design causes no negative harm to human eyes during indoor use, creating a healthier growing environment for you. Low IR (infrared thermal radiation) low infrared radiation LED chips pose no risk of scorching plants when irradiating them at close range, requiring less stringent specifications for growing hardware equipment. Ceramic heat dissipation offers excellent performance and a product lifespan of 50,000 hours, with a maximum service life of up to 17 years. It provides a 5-year warranty. The foldable structure allows for a larger irradiation area; the folded design enables adjusting the light source angle according to actual needs, covering a larger planting area.
