On July 7, the China Association of Lighting Industry organized its secretariat staff to watch live the national mobilization and deployment teleconference on the special cleanup and rectification of arbitrary charges by industry associations and chambers of commerce, jointly convened by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the State Administration for Market Regulation.

The meeting deeply studied and implemented the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the celebration ceremony marking the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, fully mobilized and carefully deployed the special cleanup and rectification work on arbitrary charges by industry associations and chambers of commerce, created a favorable environment for the sustained and healthy development of the economy and society, and advanced into a new journey towards the second centenary goal with concrete actions. The China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, the China Air Transport Association, the Asset Management Association of China, the Beijing Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau, the Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and the Shandong Provincial Market Regulation Bureau, 6 units in total, made exchange speeches. Tang Jun, Vice Minister of the State Administration for Market Regulation, and Wan Jinsong, Director of the Price Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, carried out the mobilization and deployment. Li Jiheng, Party Secretary and Minister of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, attended the meeting and delivered a concluding speech. The meeting was chaired by Zhan Chengfu, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

此前，民政部等三部委已经下发了《关于组织开展2021年度全国性行业协会商会收费自查抽查工作的通知》（民函[2021]50号），要求各全国性行业协会商会（原）业务主管单位和各全国性行业协会商会，自2021年6月—12月，对收费全面开展自查，进一步降低全国性行业协会商会涉企收费规模，增强全国性行业协会商会服务企业能力，促进全国性行业协会商会健康有序发展，为减轻市场主体负担、优化营商环境、保持经济社会持续健康发展积极贡献力量。

Between 2019 and 2021, the Association has conducted self-inspections 4 times in succession, with no instances of arbitrary charges. In recent years, the Association has also actively reduced the burden on industry enterprises by merging meetings and waiving meeting fees. After the meeting, staff of the Association Secretariat thoroughly studied and understood the meeting spirit, discussed and researched based on their own circumstances as required by the meeting, ensuring that the meeting spirit is effectively implemented.
