Accelerating the deployment of smart streetlights, Huati Technology signs agreements with Zhangjiakou Municipal Group and others
On May 10, Liang Xi, Chairman and President of Huati Technology, Liu Yuan, Chairman of Zhangjiakou Municipal Group, and Wei Xiaoruo, General Manager of Hebei Maikang Communication Development Co., Ltd., jointly signed the "Investment Agreement" in Zhangjiakou City.

According to the project agreement, the planned total investment for this project is RMB 100 million. A new joint venture company will be established for cooperative operation, with a registered capital of RMB 30 million and independent legal person status. Zhangjiakou Yicai Lighting Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhangjiakou Municipal Group, holds a 40% stake; Huati Technology holds a 39% stake; and Hebei Maikang Communication Development Co., Ltd. holds a 21% stake.
The new company plans to enter the digital economy city construction of Zhangjiakou, Shijiazhuang and other cities with smart streetlights. By seizing the three major historical opportunities of coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, joint hosting of the Winter Olympics by Beijing and Zhangjiakou, and building a national renewable energy demonstration zone, it aims to establish a marketing network centered on Zhangjiakou and Shijiazhuang, radiating to Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi and other regions.
The signing of this investment agreement marks a positive start to the collaboration between Huati Technology and the Zhangjiakou Municipal Government. Huati Technology will take this as a starting point to actively cooperate with the government in cultivating new businesses and scenarios for smart cities, play a leading role in exploring new processes, materials, and technologies, and strive to build the new company into a main force for expanding into the Central Plains Urban Agglomeration market, jointly promoting high-quality economic development in Zhangjiakou.
It is estimated that the smart streetlight market remains substantial. The market size for smart streetlights in Zhangjiakou and surrounding cities covered by this agreement exceeds RMB 20 billion, with the overall domestic market expected to approach RMB 1 trillion.
Seizing the opportunity, Huati Technology began its low-key layout early on, successively carrying out city-level smart streetlight construction and O&M projects in Lijiang (Yunnan), Shuangliu (Chengdu), Meishan Tianfu New Area, Renshou County, Xichang City, Qingdao, Bengbu, and other regions. Moving forward steadily, Huati Technology has also actively expanded its urban presence by establishing joint ventures with local state-owned enterprises to build and operate urban smart furniture, smart streetlights, and other equipment.
Prior to this, Huati Technology had promoted the establishment of four smart city (pole) platform companies to operate smart streetlight projects, namely Huantian Smart, Hengji Huati, Konggang Smart, and Huaxin Smart, effectively supporting the construction of smart cities in different regions and the development of 5G.
