Huang Liben, Director of the Future City Research and Innovation Department at the Nanjing Street Light Management Office, delivered a report titled "Drawing on Strength to Reach Far, Sharing the Future- Nanjing's Exploration and Reflections on Smart Pole Scenario Applications and Operational Models." The report detailed the three iterations in street light development, which have resulted in four versions: traditional street lights, combined poles, smart multi-functional poles, and "checkpoint-style smart streetlight robots." Based on these three iterations, Nanjing has practiced and explored how to plan, construct, and operate smart poles with "simultaneous implementation" and how to upgrade existing street lights to smart poles. Furthermore, future operations and multi-scenario applications based on smart poles are also key directions for Nanjing Street Light's research and reflection.

Chen Hao, Marketing Director of Shenzhen MOSO Electronics Technology Co., Ltd., presented a report titled "Integrated Solution for Power Supply and Management of Smart Light Poles". In the context of new infrastructure development, smart light poles have been defined as a new type of infrastructure. Given the diverse functionalities of smart light poles, how to scientifically distribute power and manage their peripherals is a key challenge. Combining intelligent requirements, MOSO creatively proposed the "unified" design theory for power supplies through selective integration of functions.

Bu Xiang, Deputy General Manager of Jiangsu Chengxu Electric Group Co., Ltd., delivered a report titled "Exploring the Path of Innovation and Transformation in the Outdoor Lighting Industry". Based on the 14th Five-Year Plan and the Outline of Long-Range Objectives Through the Year 2035, Manager Bu shared his insights on innovation, intellectual property, the digital economy, and energy saving and emission reduction, combined with actual product cases. He pointed out that the digital economy era requires new infrastructure. With the continuous advancement of new infrastructure, smart streetlights and new energy lighting will usher in broad opportunities in the construction of smart cities.

Dr. Zhuang Xiaobo from Shanghai Shidai Zhiguang Lighting Appliance Testing Co., Ltd. presented a report titled "Introduction to Standards and Testing for Street Lights, Smart Street Lights, and Multifunctional Street Lights." He summarized the relevant standards for street lights, focusing on testing aspects including IP, IK, photobiological safety, EMC, luminous intensity distribution curves, and on-site testing. He explained the standards for smart lighting both domestically and internationally, as well as the testing of smart street lights with single-lamp controllers, along with domestic standards and testing for multifunctional street lights. Finally, he briefly introduced the icons in test reports and how to query CNAS accreditation capabilities.

Qu Junke, Technical Engineer at Shandong Guanzhou Co., Ltd., presented a report titled "Guanzhou Customized Solutions Serving the Light Pole Industry / Supply Chain." He detailed the features of Guanzhou's premium coated and plated steel sheets through data and case studies, and shared customized solutions to address how the pickling process affects the service life of enclosure systems in light pole processing plants.

The interactive discussion session was moderated by Wang Xiaoming, Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Lighting Society. Invited speakers included Zhang Xun, Section Chief of the Changzhou Urban Lighting Management Office; Li Jin, General Manager of Guangdong Dongling Power Technology Co., Ltd.; Huang Liben, Director of the Future City Research and Innovation Department at the Nanjing Street Light Management Office; Zhuang Xiaobo from Shanghai Shidai Zhiguang Lighting Appliance Testing Co., Ltd.; Chen Hao, Marketing Director of Shenzhen MOSO Electronics Technology Co., Ltd.; and Bu Xiang, Deputy General Manager of Jiangsu Chengxu Electric Group Co., Ltd. They engaged in exchanges and discussions with attendees on topics such as the distinctions and connections between smart streetlights and smart poles, how smart pole information control platforms can be compatible with or merged into existing street light control centers (platforms), and the placement of LED street light drivers.

Finally, Wen Qidong, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Lighting Association, delivered the closing remarks and summary speech. He mentioned that, considering the overall situation of road lighting, it can be summarized as "change and no change." "Change" refers to the shift in development trends. Compared with previous years, the current trend is multi-functionality on a single pole and integration of multiple poles into one, which reduces costs and increases efficiency for cities. The market has huge development potential. Meanwhile, relevant institutions are continuously improving the standard system, and enterprises are exploring effective business models. Therefore, the development trend of smart streetlights is irreversible, while health orientation, intelligence, and high quality put forward higher requirements for enterprises. What remains "unchanged" is the mission of lighting professionals, as smart streetlights are still in the development stage.
