China Association of Lighting Industry Holds 2021 Chairman's Office Meeting Online

China Association of Lighting Industry (hereinafter referred to as CALI) held the 2021 Chairman's Office Meeting online on the afternoon of April 2, 2021. The meeting was conducted online. More than 20 people attended the meeting, including the Association's President, Vice Presidents, members of the Board of Supervisors, and the Secretary-General, with staff from the Association's Secretariat attending as observers. The meeting was chaired by CALI President Chen Yansheng.

The meeting mainly introduced and discussed the preparation for CALI's leadership transition, the revision of CALI's Articles of Association, the transition plan for the Ninth Council, and other main content.

Chairman Chen Yansheng reported on the preparation of CALI's leadership transition work, and provided a detailed introduction to the transition plan for the Ninth Council (draft), the preparation of preliminary transition work, the selection of meeting time and venue, the meeting content, the work currently carried out, and the work plan for the next step.

Vice Chairman Liu Shengping delivered a report on the draft amendments to the Charter of the China Illuminating Association. In accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Civil Affairs and other relevant government departments, he explained the modifications to the Charter regarding party building work, personnel appointments, business scope, internal governance, and other contents.

Deputy Secretary-General Wen Qidong introduced the composition plan (draft) for the directors and executive directors of the 9th Council, and provided corresponding explanations on the generation method, adjustments, and supplementary situation of the candidate list for directors of the 9th Council.

Secretary-General Wang Zhuo reported on the adjustment plan (draft) for the branch institutions of the China Illuminating Association. After collecting opinions and suggestions from relevant parties, it is proposed to make adjustments to some branch institutions. Secretary-General Wang Zhuo also briefed on the main work recently carried out by the Association and the next steps in the work plan.

After discussion and exchange, the participating representatives unanimously agreed to the above proposals reported by the Secretariat, expressed recognition of the Association's work preparations, and stated that everyone will continue to support the various work of the Association. At the same time, the above proposals will be submitted to the 9th Member Representative Congress and the 9th Council of the China Illuminating Association for review and approval in accordance with the Association's Charter. The meeting achieved a complete success.
