6,000 sets! 400 million! Jiangsu Gaoyou City Smart Street Light Network Infrastructure Construction Project Approved
The Agricultural Bank of China, Gaoyou Branch in Jiangsu Province, actively responded to the national call for building smart cities and strongly supported the upgrading of the local street light industry. This initiative helped the local government achieve significant results in ensuring and improving public services, innovating social management, and maintaining cybersecurity.
Recently, the bank's application for the "Smart Streetlight Network Infrastructure Construction Project" was approved for 400 million yuan, with the first tranche of 100 million yuan already disbursed to the account.
Upon completion of the project, 6,000 lamp posts in Gaoyou urban area, Jiangsu Province, will be equipped with energy-saving street lights, wireless fiber optics, 5G micro base stations, intelligent monitoring devices, and connected to an information software platform to enable smart lighting management and urban IoT data access.
By implementing intelligent upgrades to the light poles around parking spaces, installing smart recognition equipment, and connecting all 7,300 parking spaces to the comprehensive smart parking operation platform, functions such as license plate recognition, parking space usage monitoring, parking duration statistics, and unmanned self-service payment are achieved, with real-time feedback provided to car owners via a mobile app.
The newly built data, command, and exhibition center will integrate and utilize various types of information collected by smart light poles by constructing application databases, traffic control systems, large-screen displays and their supporting facilities, city-level AR real-scene display systems, information security systems, and big data comprehensive display systems. It will feed back valuable information such as human behavior recognition, vehicle violation identification, and idle parking space guidance to relevant government departments, thereby realizing the digitization and intelligence of urban construction and management.
