During the Spring Festival in 2020, the novel coronavirus pneumonia that began in Wuhan and gradually spread across the country was constantly on the minds of people nationwide. On January 23, Wuhan decided to build a specialized hospital for the centralized treatment of novel coronavirus pneumonia patients, modeled after Beijing's Xiaotangshan Hospital—Huoshenshan Hospital. On January 25, the Wuhan Epidemic Prevention Command held a coordination meeting and decided to build another specialized hospital, naming it Leishenshan Hospital.
In recent days, the epidemic in Wuhan has deeply concerned every alumnus of Fudan University in Guangzhou. While worrying about the situation, they are making every effort to help, with many alumni expressing their willingness to contribute. On February 1, Guangmingyuan Light Technology, in collaboration with the Guangzhou Alumni Association of Fudan University, donated 2,000 sets of UV luminaires to Wuhan Leishenshan Hospital to combat the novel coronavirus pneumonia, going all out to ensure efficient epidemic control.

On January 25, the first batch of 700 wall-mounted UV disinfection and sterilization units was loaded and shipped to Wuhan for use in multiple hospitals. On February 1, another 2,000 sets of UV lamps, jointly donated by Guangmingyuan and the Fudan University Alumni Association of Guangzhou, arrived in Wuhan. Delivered via YTO Express’s green channel around the clock, they reached the construction site of Wuhan Leishenshan Hospital directly, responding swiftly to support the hospital’s construction and joining the front line of the fight against the epidemic!
