On September 10, the "2020 Smart Pole Technology and Application Training" was held in Wuxi. Our company's Chen Yihan, Cao Bing, Chen Shixiong, Chen Xiang, and Shao Xiangsong completed the 2020 Smart Pole Technology and Application Training.

On September 11, the "China Internet of Things and Green Smart City Development Forum" was held in Wuxi. Attendees included Academician Jin Yaqiu of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Academician Song Liang of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, Deputy Director Li Xing of the National Energy Conservation Center, Secretary-General Wang Zhuo of the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI), Deputy General Manager Lu Qing of CEC Panda Group, and distinguished guests from universities such as Fudan University and Tongji University. The forum was hosted by the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI) and CEC Panda Group, and organized by China Light Network. It explored new opportunities for cooperation between the lighting and IoT industries from perspectives such as green energy saving and environmental protection, healthy light environments, 5G communications, intelligent control, and interconnectivity. Approximately 300 representatives from well-known IoT enterprises, manufacturers, operators, lighting companies, research institutions, and associations/societies across the country participated. In particular, more than 70 experts in the fields of smart cities and smart poles were invited to discuss technologies, standards, solutions, and related topics for green smart cities, seeking new opportunities for collaboration between the lighting and IoT industries.

At the Forum, Lu Qing, Deputy General Manager of CEC Panda Group, delivered a speech. He stated that in recent years, to align with the wave of development in the new round of information technology and technological revolution, China has taken the active construction of a "Smart Society" as its future vision, comprehensively accelerating the promotion of smart city construction, significantly enhancing the level of modernization in urban governance. In particular, in the face of the sudden outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic this year, smart healthcare, smart transportation, smart living, smart government services, and smart education have demonstrated incomparable "smart" advantages in times of crisis. Over the years, CEC Panda has consistently adhered to the concepts of digitalization, networking, and intelligence, vigorously developing the smart industry, and achieving fruitful results in areas such as smart enterprises, smart transportation, safe cities, smart communities, and smart lighting. In the future, it will continue to contribute "Panda" wisdom and "Panda" solutions to promote the construction of new-type smart cities and accelerate the building of a smart society.

Yu Yanqiu, Chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Lighting Electrical Association, shared insights from the perspective of "Digital Light Networks Facilitating Green and Smart City Construction." He believes that whether focusing on a "Smart Lighting" center or a "Smart Pole" center, it is difficult to integrate other functions in practice. In contrast, starting with a "Digital Light Network" to create a top-level design centered on the lighting system, integrating other functions, and leaving interfaces for additional functionalities, is the most practical solution.

At this forum, Chen Shixiong, Deputy General Manager of our company's Smart Lighting Division, mainly introduced new developments in outdoor lighting under IoT technology. Regarding equipment mounted on smart streetlights, he believes that it is necessary to align with demands and ensure proper functional expansion. He stated that lighting should be adjusted according to specific scenarios, such as ambient temperature and humidity, real-time weather conditions, etc., i.e., context-aware lighting.
