Salute to the Frontline of Poverty Alleviation | NVC Lighting Participates in the National Semiconductor Lighting Targeted Poverty Alleviation Project

To implement targeted poverty alleviation, promote ecological civilization, improve lighting conditions for impoverished households in poverty-stricken areas, and reduce lighting energy consumption and electricity costs, the National Development and Reform Commission organized local subordinate units and lighting enterprises to carry out lighting-based poverty alleviation in designated poverty-stricken counties. NVC Lighting actively responded and participated in charitable initiatives across multiple provinces, including Hebei, Heilongjiang, and Shaanxi.

On September 24, the "National Semiconductor Lighting Targeted Poverty Alleviation Donation Ceremony" was held in Lingshou County, Hebei Province. Leaders attending the ceremony included Li Hao, Director of the Circular Economy and Resources Division of the Hebei Provincial Development and Reform Commission; Song Weibin, Director of the Circular Economy and Resources Division of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Development and Reform Commission; Hao Yingpeng, Executive Deputy County Mayor of Lingshou County; Liang Fengbin, Director of the County Poverty Alleviation Office; Lv Xiaohua, Deputy Director of the County Development and Reform Bureau; Zheng Huitao, First Secretary stationed in Majiazhuang Village; and Du Yinghua, General Manager of the NVC Lighting brand.

At the event, Director Li Hao, on behalf of the Hebei Provincial Development and Reform Commission, donated 30,000 NVC Lighting LED bulb lamps (semiconductor lighting products) to Lingshou County. Ms. Du Yinghua, representing NVC Lighting, donated NVC eye-protection desk lamps, schoolbags, and other study supplies to Majiazhuang Village.

The battle against poverty with Chinese characteristics is the greatest chapter in the history of human poverty reduction. It not only provides fish but also teaches how to fish, genuinely striving for the people's well-being. It is reported that in Lingshou County alone, the state has dispatched 122 First Secretaries stationed in villages. These First Secretaries are selected from key cadres at national ministries, provincial, municipal, and county levels, serving terms of 2-3 years. They are directly responsible for meeting poverty alleviation targets, working day and night with local village cadres and villagers to find ways to overcome poverty challenges.

Representatives from NVC Lighting, together with village-stationed cadres, visited the designated assistance villages of Majiazhuang and Yingli, witnessing the dramatic transformations and the spirit of self-reliance in these communities. In recognition of students who overcame significant challenges to gain university admission, NVC Lighting provided special educational encouragement grants.
