Notice on the Initiation of Two Industry Standards

To All Member Units:

2020 April to May, the Standardization Technical Committee of the China Association of Lighting Industry (abbreviated as "CALI Standardization Committee") successively received project initiation applications for "Technical Specification for Safety and Performance Application of Classroom Ultraviolet Sterilization Luminaire" and "Safety and Performance Requirements for Ultraviolet Disinfection Luminaires", two group standards. In accordance with the "Articles of Association of the Standardization Technical Committee of the China Association of Lighting Industry" (abbreviated as "Articles") and the "Work Rules for Group Standards of the China Association of Lighting Industry" (abbreviated as "Rules"), the CALI Standardization Committee Secretariat solicited opinions from committee members at the first working meeting of the CALI Standardization Committee held on May 28, and conducted a public notice on the CALI official website from June 28, 2020 to July 12, 2020, receiving no objections.

In accordance with the requirements of the "Articles" and "Rules", it is hereby agreed that the above-mentioned two group standards shall be initiated. This notice is issued accordingly.
