Jiangsu Lighting Electrical Association Releases Group Standard "Urban Lighting Facilities Maintenance Standards"

On April 8, the group standard "Urban Lighting Facility Maintenance Standard" by the Jiangsu Provincial Lighting Electrical Association was published on the National Group Standard Information Platform Management System and will be implemented on May 8, 2020.

The group standard "Standard for Maintenance of Urban Lighting Facilities" is applicable to departments at all levels in China responsible for the construction, maintenance, and management of urban lighting, as well as enterprises and institutions engaged in the maintenance and management of urban lighting facilities, serving as a guide for urban lighting facility maintenance work.

The release of the group standard "Standards for Maintenance of Urban Lighting Facilities" can regulate the maintenance operations of urban lighting facilities in Jiangsu Province, unify maintenance standards, effectively define maintenance responsibilities, scientifically allocate maintenance funds, achieve refined management, promote high-quality development of the urban lighting industry, guide the needs for maintenance of urban lighting facilities under market conditions, and play an important role in standardizing urban lighting maintenance, improving maintenance quality, and providing a basis for scientific management by administrative departments.

The group standard "Standard for Maintenance of Urban Lighting Facilities" was proposed by the Jiangsu Provincial Lighting Electrical Appliance Association, Nanjing Illuminating Engineering Society, and Nanjing Society for Standardization, and is under the centralized management of the Jiangsu Provincial Lighting Electrical Appliance Association.
