Recently, GE Current, a Daintree company, announced the appointment of Donald Chip Taylor as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Taylor has over 25 years of experience in the electrical industry and most recently served as Vice President of Channel Sales for the Lighting Division at Eaton. Taylor's appointment strengthens Current's management team, which was acquired by AIP in April 2019.

Taylor stated that Current focuses on a professional lighting and control portfolio, setting it apart in the industry. It is an honor to have the opportunity to join this experienced and talented team. I look forward to contributing to its rapid growth.

Taylor joined Cooper Lighting (Cooper Lighting) in 2005, holding various positions, including Regional Vice President and National Sales Director for the Energy Group. In his most recent role as Vice President of Channels, he managed all national channel relationships, including sales and marketing strategies to support the electrical distributor community for the lighting department. During this tenure, he also developed and managed the energy services business for Eaton's lighting operations.

Current CEO Manish Bhandari stated: 'As Chief Business Officer, Chip will work closely with the leadership team to execute Current's commercial strategy, collaborate closely with the leadership team to drive and lead the significant growth of the company's product platform and service offerings.'

It is reported that in October last year, GE Current was renamed "GE Current, a Daintree company." In December of the same year, the company, together with its parent company American Industrial Partners (AIP), appointed Manish Bhandari as Chief Executive Officer.
