Under the requirements and deployment of the Party Central Committee to grasp epidemic prevention and production simultaneously, the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI) issued an initiative for orderly resumption of production across the industry. This week, production enterprises in various regions have gradually resumed production. While resuming production, the association is also timely following up to understand the problems and difficulties faced by enterprises during the resumption of work and production, especially regarding production personnel. It requires that production enterprises resuming work and production must still prioritize epidemic prevention and control, placing personnel health and safety first. We understand that due to restrictions on returning workers, there is a significant labor gap; additionally, on the other hand, enterprises that have resumed production are experiencing a surge in demand for protective supplies. Some enterprises reported that currently only enough supplies exist for two weeks for existing employees.

The China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI) immediately received assistance from sister industry associations, including the China Plastics Processing Industry Association, obtaining contact information for mask and protective clothing production enterprises across the country. Member enterprises of CALI with needs are requested to contact the association promptly to secure supply channels for masks within their respective regions as soon as possible.

In addition, the China Lighting Association has learned that some enterprises, responding to the national call, have reallocated their own resources or gathered supplier resources to begin producing masks. For example, Shenzhen Dark Energy Power Supply Co., Ltd. has already started working overtime to produce masks; companies in need can contact them. Ms. Zhang of Dark Energy Company 13760314839.

Given the current epidemic, medical staff are fighting on the front lines, and mask supply needs to be prioritized for medical institutions and government allocation. We also request that production enterprises fully understand any mask demand that cannot be met in time. The China Lighting Association will continue to strive to secure relevant assistance and support for everyone!
