On the afternoon of October 24, the Lighting Industry’s Overseas Strategy and GEO New Infrastructure Private Board Meeting, themed “Health at the Core, AI as the Wings,” was successfully held at Guangdong Songsheng Power Technology Co., Ltd. The event was co-hosted by China Light All-Media and Jianzhong Zhiye, with support from the Asian Healthy Light Alliance (GLGA), Songsheng Power, and the Organizing Committee of the Ningbo International Lighting Exhibition. It brought together leaders of lighting industry enterprises, technical experts, and cross-border service providers to engage in in-depth discussions on the globalization of healthy lighting, AI-driven marketing transformations, and pathways for ecological overseas expansion, jointly exploring breakthrough strategies for Chinese lighting companies to achieve technological advancement and global brand recognition in the era of stock competition.

In his opening remarks, the Executive Dean of Ming Classroom and Editor-in-Chief of China Light All-Media pointed out that the lighting industry currently faces overcapacity, intensifying price wars, and a domestic market entering an era of stock-based competition, while traditional product export models have hit bottlenecks. Meanwhile, healthy lighting, human-centric lighting (HCL), and rapidly growing global demand are emerging, and large-scale AI models are reshaping how information is accessed worldwide, fundamentally transforming businesses’ customer acquisition and brand communication strategies. This private board meeting aims to address these pressing industry challenges by fostering a dialogue across “cutting-edge technology—digital marketing—global delivery.”

At the conference, Hou Dingwen, founder of Jianzhong Zhiye and DRD Research Institute, delivered a presentation titled “AI Full-Stack Marketing Boosts Efficiency by 50%,” offering an in-depth analysis of current operational difficulties faced by lighting companies and explaining the evolution of marketing—from SEO search optimization to the GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) era. Hou emphasized that AI tools can help drive traffic, but only a complete ecosystem can sustain long-term trust. AI engines prioritize structured, cross-validated factual sources rather than simply piling up product specifications. Lighting companies must build brand-specific knowledge bases, transforming certifications, test data, and real-world application cases into AI‑readable “standard answer foundations,” thereby achieving end-to-end efficiency gains—from being seen to being recommended, and ultimately enabling replicable capabilities.

She also demonstrated live several practical tools developed by Jianzhong, including an AI sales champion agent integrated within the WeChat Work ecosystem, automated competitor tracking, and daily supply chain market reports, all designed to boost both organizational and conversion efficiency by 50%. Using real-world examples, she showcased how a newly launched website received overseas procurement inquiries within just one week, preliminarily validating the effectiveness of GEO full-stack services. She further revealed that, as an officially authorized service provider for Tencent Cloud and WeChat Work, Jianzhong is deeply integrating its brand knowledge base and WorkBuddy AI agents into strategic planning, R&D, production, supply chain, and sales processes, helping lighting companies realize true AI‑driven full-stack marketing transformation.

In her speech, “From Product Export to Ecological Rooting—The ‘Hundred-Thousand-Million’ Project Empowering Zhongshan Lighting to Build a Global Brand Community,” He Ziyun, CEO of Shiluxun Cross-Border, directly addressed the deep-seated pain points of traditional lighting exports: excessive promises made during front-end sales, coupled with inadequate supply chain management, delivery, and after-sales support, leading to rapid erosion of reputation as order volumes grow. She argued that the industry has officially entered the GEO ecological intent era, where the core of overseas expansion is no longer single-product price comparisons, but delivering comprehensive spatial solutions. Hongyin’s Homein.pro platform replicates and upgrades the industrial cluster model, collaborating with the overseas GEO benchmark Hashmeta.ai to co-build new GEO infrastructure, sharing costs among clusters so even small and medium-sized factories can offer AI‑based solution recommendations. The goal is to ensure that overseas architects and property owners prioritize Chinese holistic healthy lighting solutions when using AI tools.

He Ziyun elaborated on the “Hundred-Thousand-Million Overseas Ecology” plan, aiming to establish a globally interconnected network involving 100 countries, 1,000 factories, and 10,000 OPC co-creation officers. Leveraging this initiative, the platform seamlessly integrates Homein.pro’s product supply chain foundation with its digital operations brain, completing a closed-loop system spanning factory products, solution libraries, and overseas project implementation and delivery. A full-package project for a high-end villa in California has already undergone commercial validation. She particularly highlighted that healthy lighting will serve as the core product within this industrial export ecosystem, with technological offerings and digital ecosystems mutually empowering each other, driving China’s lighting industry away from mere product sales toward delivering complete spatial solutions.

Cheng Yu, Secretary-General of GLGA, presented a groundbreaking talk titled “Lighting for Healthy Buildings,” systematically dissecting how healthy lighting supports healthy architecture and enables engineered delivery. Cheng first clarified the value framework of healthy lighting across three dimensions—standards, mechanisms, and metrics: China’s “Healthy Building Evaluation Standard” and mandatory national standard GB55016‑2021, along with the international WELL v2 standard, have already incorporated circadian lighting into auditable provisions. With the third type of ipRGC photoreceptor mechanism now confirmed, lighting assessments must also account for non-visual indicators such as equivalent melanopic illuminance (EML/mEDI).

He further outlined four major application areas—improved sleep, mood relief, enhanced concentration, and PBM light‑biological repair—and emphasized that healthy lighting is not merely a single luminaire, but a complete service loop requiring diagnosis, design, implementation, verification, and ongoing maintenance. He disclosed that GLGA has partnered with Germany’s TÜV Rheinland to launch a dual-track certification system for healthy lighting products and their application environments, providing decision-making guidance for property owners and bridging the final mile between laboratory research and actual building projects. Additionally, GLGA has established a five-channel non-visual evaluation framework, transforming healthy lighting from a conceptual slogan into measurable, verifiable, and certifiable engineering standards. He predicts that lighting companies will truly shift from “selling lamps” to “selling healthy lighting solutions.”

During the interactive Q&A session, attendees engaged in lively discussions around related topics.

This private board meeting achieved a convergence of ideas across technology, marketing, and overseas expansion: healthy lighting forms the product‑technical core, GEO new infrastructure builds a global digital foundation, and AI full-stack marketing completes internal capability upgrades. In the face of shifting global market dynamics, China’s lighting industry must break free from low‑price competition, leverage hard-core technologies to create differentiated products, and rely on digital new infrastructure to forge an industrial community, truly transitioning from product export to ecological rooting.
