It is understood that following the Wenchuan earthquake, the reconstruction of infrastructure in the Sichuan region will lead to large-scale market demand in related industries such as construction, municipal works, building materials, and decoration. As the lighting industry is a key sector for energy conservation and emissions reduction, the energy-saving lighting industry has enormous development potential. The development goal of Sichuan's construction industry is to strive to reach a total output value of approximately 280 billion yuan by 2010, ranking first in the central and western regions and entering the ranks of the country's strongest construction provinces. Following the launch of the "Ten Cities, Ten Thousand Lights" semiconductor lighting pilot project in 2009 and the introduction of preferential policies for the development of the semiconductor industry in Chengdu, combined with the demand for creating a world-class garden city landscape, this will inevitably bring about a larger wave of market demand.

On April 25, the training activity "Phasing Out Incandescent Bulbs and Promoting Efficient New Concepts," hosted by the China Association of Lighting Industry and organized by LED Times Network and Jinfu Lighting City, was grandly held in the Lighting City conference room. Leaders of the China Lighting Association and Jinfu Lighting City delivered speeches. At the same time, Professor Lu Shaoquan and expert Yan Xiaoming brought a rich knowledge feast to the broad community of dealers in Lighting City. The training received strong recognition from the numerous merchants in Lighting City, who actively participated in classroom interactions, with the two experts answering their questions.

This event received strong support from the following outstanding green lighting manufacturers: Nanjing Handerson, Jiangsu Siteco, GMY Lighting, Hangzhou Yuzhong Gaohong, Zhejiang Yankon, Xiamen Tongshida, Shanghai Yaming, Shenzhen Liangbaijia, Panasonic Electric Works, Shangyu Dadongnan Lighting, etc. The latest green lighting technologies they brought have added considerable brilliance to this training.

After the meeting concluded, numerous merchants actively signed the pledge titled "Phasing Out Incandescent Bulbs, Promoting Efficient Lighting," a joint initiative to resist the circulation of substandard lighting products in the market.
