Jointly expanding Yangzhou's LED industry

Wang Yanwen, Secretary of the Yangzhou Municipal Party Committee, met with Yoon Chul-joo, CEO of South Korea's WOOREE Group, and his delegation, who visited Yangzhou for an inspection tour. The two sides reached a consensus on deepening cooperation in the LED industry and promoting LED applications in broader fields. WOOREE Group also signed a memorandum of cooperation with the municipal economic and technological development zone on an LED packaging project.

Wang Yanwen welcomed Yoon Chul-joo's visit. She said that Yangzhou's LED industry currently has a certain industrial foundation, especially with preferential support policies, which have attracted a large number of powerful LED companies to gather in Yangzhou. Yangzhou should not only become a gathering city for the LED industry but also a demonstration city for LED applications, driving the promotion and application of the LED lighting industry on a broader scale. WOOREE Group's joining will greatly benefit the further improvement and extension of our city's LED industry chain. It is hoped that both sides can carry out cooperation at a deeper level to seek win-win results.

Yoon Chul-joo said that the WOOREE Group has a 40-year history and has certain advantages in LED packaging and displays. They are very pleased to cooperate with Yangzhou.
