Chancheng completes public lighting "renewal" in 2 years

As one of the first batch of provincial "Green Lighting Demonstration City" pilots, Chancheng District has made substantial progress in promoting the application of LED. Yesterday, Chancheng District held a working meeting on promoting the application of LED lighting products, and released the "Implementation Plan for Promoting the Application of LED Lighting Products in Chancheng District, Foshan City" (Draft for Comments) (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan"), and signed responsibility documents with relevant departments. According to the Plan, Chancheng District will use two years to complete the goal of popularizing LED lighting in the public lighting field. By the end of 2013, it will achieve energy savings of more than 50% in lighting compared to the same period, and complete an annual output value of 2 billion yuan by 2015.
