iOS-controlled LED lighting products to launch with Apple certification
Lextar Electronics Chairman David Wu believes that Apple will certify the Bluetooth LED lighting control system within 1-2 months, which would make Lextar Electronics the world's first supplier of iOS-based LED lighting control products. Lextar Electronics is currently developing new Bluetooth wireless LED lighting products compatible with iOS devices, and the company hopes that both the software and hardware will pass Apple's certification.
Apple's certification is very important because iOS devices require a special Bluetooth serial port profile file for authentication. After obtaining Apple's certification, Lextar Electronics' products will be able to bear the "Made for iPhone" or "Made for iPad" labels. Lextar Electronics' LED lighting technology will allow users to adjust parameters such as color temperature and brightness. The company's products were applied to the Google Android platform in 2011. Japan accounts for 30-40% of Lextar Electronics' LED chip sales, Europe accounts for 20-25%, the Asia-Pacific region accounts for 20%, and the United States accounts for 10%.
