Lighting designers and interior designers play pivotal roles in bringing healthy lighting to life: the former master computational tools and simulation validation, while the latter determine key factors—such as spatial reflectance, material choices, and daylighting conditions—that exert disproportionate influence on circadian effects. This workshop combines participants from both disciplines into mixed teams, fostering collaborative learning across these critical domains, ensuring a shared language throughout the entire “concept–calculation–implementation” workflow.
This training program is based on the following standards: T/CBDA 91-2026 “Indoor Space Healthy Lighting Design Standard” and CIE S 026/E:2018, blending theoretical knowledge with practical application. III. Target Participants
Lighting designers: Must be proficient in core calculation methods such as m‑EDI/MDER, dynamic circadian timing design, and compliance verification against relevant standards.
Interior designers: Need to understand how healthy lighting impacts spatial design—including reflectance, surface materials, and ceiling treatments—and articulate healthy lighting requirements during the early design phase.
Other related professionals: Architects, soft‑furnishing designers, technical experts in lighting and smart home systems, as well as project managers in real estate and healthcare‑related developments.
Capacity: Small class size of approximately 20 participants (spots allocated on a first‑come, first‑served basis). Participants will be grouped into mixed teams to simulate real‑world project collaboration.

The curriculum is distilled from GLGA’s “Healthy Lighting Design Training Plan” (Version 1.0, 48‑hour framework), covering seven core modules: concepts, metrics, design proposals, calculations, software applications, case studies, and standards.

With 29 years of experience in the lighting industry, he has long championed the holistic advancement of healthy lighting, building a complete value chain spanning light sources and luminaires, control systems, human‑centric light environment assessment, standard development, certification frameworks, and real‑world implementation. His work focuses on cutting‑edge areas such as circadian lighting, non‑visual biological effects evaluation, and photobiological modulation (PBM), driving the transition of healthy light environments from conceptual ideas toward scalable, quantifiable, and replicable applications.
His groundbreaking, innovative lighting solutions have been successfully deployed in two national landmark projects—the Ping An Finance Centre in Shenzhen and China Zun (CITIC Tower in Beijing)—setting industry benchmarks. He also co‑authored the China Building Decoration Association’s “Indoor Lighting Application Design Standard” and “Indoor Healthy Lighting Design Standard,” helping shift indoor lighting from simply “illuminating space” to a people‑centered approach. As a global consultant for WELL’s light concept, he continues to promote the localization of WELL’s healthy building light environment philosophy, expanding its applicability across office, hospitality, elderly care, and residential settings, empowering healthier living through “good light.”
VI. Certificates and Credit Recognition
Participants who complete all coursework and pass the final assessment will receive a GLGA “Healthy Lighting Design Training Certificate,” which counts toward GLGA’s Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credit system and can serve as proof of training hours when applying for GLGA’s Level 1 Healthy Lighting Design Certification (basic level).

VII. Fee Structure
Registration Fee: 3,000 RMB per person
◆What’s Included: All course sessions and hands‑on guidance, training handouts and standard resource packages, access to spectroradiometers, use of GLGA’s healthy lighting calculation tools, final assessment and certificate, plus lunch and tea breaks over two days.
