2026 Gaoyou City Luminaire Association Annual Conference Successfully Held

This annual conference received significant attention from the industry and local government. Wang Xuhua, Vice Chairman of the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI), Deng Maolin, Deputy Secretary-General, Shen Ru, Chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Lighting Electrical Association, Yu Yanqiu, Party Branch Secretary, Qian Zongming, Secretary-General of the Jiangsu Provincial Lighting Society, Wang Handong, Deputy Mayor of Gaoyou City and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the High-Tech Zone, Zhang Yongjun, Vice Chairman of the Municipal CPPCC and leader of the special task force for the city's smart lighting supply chain, along with leaders from the Municipal CPPCC, Development and Reform Commission, Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Bureau of Commerce, Civil Affairs Bureau, Songqiao Branch of the State Taxation Administration, Songqiao Branch of the Market Supervision Administration, Songqiao Court, High-Tech Zone, Lingtang Hui Ethnic Township, and heads of economic departments, together with the honorary president of the association and representatives of all member units, jointly witnessed the striving moment of Gaoyou's luminaire industry. The conference kicked off in a warm atmosphere, with eight core agendas proceeding in an orderly manner. From speeches by industry leaders and voices from enterprise representatives, to financial institution support and awarding plaques to new members, followed by the association's work report, expert thematic speeches, and deployment by local leaders, each link was closely connected and substantial. It was not only a comprehensive review of 2025 but also a strategic deployment for 2026.

The development of the association relies on the infusion of fresh blood. This annual meeting held a grand awarding ceremony for newly appointed vice presidents, directors, and member units, gathering stronger synergy for industry development. Zhongbiao Lighting Group Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Saiou Electric Group Co., Ltd. were newly promoted to vice president units; Hongzhilu Construction Group Co., Ltd., Yangzhou Hualang Lighting Technology Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Lipu Traffic Lighting Co., Ltd., and Jiangsu Fenfa Medical Technology Co., Ltd. became director units; and 14 enterprises, including Jiangsu Zhongruixin Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd. and Yangzhou Dekun Smart Logistics Co., Ltd., joined the membership. The addition of new members has further enriched the layout of the Gaoyou smart lighting supply chain, from core semiconductor components to smart logistics support, and from intelligent equipment manufacturing to engineering services. The integrity and diversity of the industry ecosystem continue to improve, injecting new vitality into the "Four Modernizations" transformation.

Looking Back at 2025: Collaborative Efforts Bear Fruit

At the annual meeting, Wang Lixiang, President of the Gaoyou Luminaire Association, delivered the 2025 annual work report, comprehensively reviewing the impressive achievements of industry development over the past year. Facing a complex market environment, Gaoyou's luminaire professionals, under the leadership of the local government and with the association as a link, adhered to the original intention of "serving enterprises, regulating the industry, and developing the industry," and delivered a report card with both quality and efficiency.

Serving enterprises with warmth: Regularly visited and researched to address over 50 corporate requests; organized benchmarking studies, elite salons, and cross-border e-commerce lectures; led nearly 20 companies to showcase at GILE (Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition), with products sold extensively to Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, America, and Africa, achieving a significant leap from "manufacturing going global" to "brand going global";

Strengthening industry standards with force: The group standard "Gaoyou Premium Light Poles" has taken root, with training for over a thousand key personnel ensuring implementation. It clarifies the four transformation paths: lightweight light poles, energy-saving lighting, intelligent systems, and integrated engineering. A full-cycle legal service system has been established to safeguard enterprise development;

Expanding cooperation with breadth: Joining hands with Shenzhen to unveil and establish the Association’s Shenzhen Service Center, setting up a frontier position in the Greater Bay Area, proactively exploring the integration of smart lighting and the low-altitude economy. With the establishment of the Industry Women’s Federation and the upgrade of the digital publicity matrix, the Association’s cohesion and centripetal force have reached unprecedented levels.

Anchoring on the 50th Anniversary in 2026 to Start a New Journey

The year 2026 is the Year of the Horse in the lunar calendar, and more importantly, a milestone year marking the 50th anniversary of the founding of Gaoyou’s luminaire industry. Standing at this half-century development node, the annual meeting clarified the direction for the new year: taking innovation as the horse and practical work as the saddle, focusing on cultivating new quality productive forces, deepening the four transformations, and fully building a modernized system for Gaoyou’s lighting industry. Zhang Yongjun, Vice Chairman of the Gaoyou Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and leader of the industry chain task force, set the tone and navigated for industrial development: shaping the unified brand “Gaoyou Luminaires, Illuminating the World” with the spirit of “taking the lead”; deepening precise “one-enterprise-one-policy” full-lifecycle services with the efficiency of “spurring the horse”; gathering strength for the four-transformations innovation breakthroughs with the momentum of “ten thousand horses galloping”, exploring new tracks for the integration of lighting with the low-altitude economy and AI; solidifying the talent foundation and optimizing the industrial ecosystem with the discerning eye of “Bo Le judging horses”; and hosting the 50th-anniversary commemorative activities with the sentiment of “an old horse knowing the way”, inheriting the spirit of struggle and continuing to write glorious chapters.

You Xingyuan, Deputy Director of the High-Tech Zone Smart Lighting Industrial Park and Director of the Economic Development Office, interpreted the implementation opinions on high-quality development in the High-Tech Zone. Zang Xinhai, Chairman of Jiangsu Chuangdao Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., and Lu Yajun, President of the Gaoyou Branch of Postal Savings Bank of China, spoke from the perspectives of corporate development and financial support respectively, highlighting the powerful synergy of government-enterprise-bank collaborative development.
