Spring tides are surging, gathering momentum in Qiantang!Organized by the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI), the "21st China Road Lighting Forum" will be grandly held in Hangzhou from April 15 to 17, 2026. Since its inception in 2005, the forum has successfully held twenty sessions. As a core platform for industry exchange, it has played a key role in promoting the development of the road lighting sector. To fully present the development context of the forum and the evolution trajectory of the industry, we have systematically compiled the core information of past forums and highlights from the last ten sessions, reviewing the industry's development history and demonstrating the forum's industry cohesion and influence.

As the longest-running, highest-specification, and most credible industry event in China's road lighting sector, the forum has undergone twenty years of accumulation. It has become a core hub connecting policy direction with industry practice, and linking technological innovation with engineering applications, witnessing and leading China's road lighting transition from traditional lighting to high-quality transformation characterized by green intelligence and diversified integration. The forum has built a comprehensive industry cooperation and exchange platform covering the entire supply chain of government, industry, academia, research, and application. It brings together municipal management departments, research institutions, enterprises, and other stakeholders to promote the sharing of technology, experience, and resources. In terms of technological innovation, the forum focuses on frontier areas such as LED applications, intelligent control, and Smart streetlight, accelerating the transformation of new technologies and driving the industry's transition from traditional lighting to green and intelligent solutions. Regarding standards and quality, the forum helps improve road lighting standards through discussions and summaries, enhancing the standardization level of engineering design and implementation. Meanwhile, the forum actively responds to the "Dual Carbon" strategy, promoting energy-saving technologies and products to reduce industry energy consumption and drive green development. Furthermore, the forum cultivates talent for the industry, guides development directions, promotes industrial upgrading, improves the quality of urban road lighting, creates a safe, comfortable, and energy-saving nighttime travel environment, and supports the construction of smart cities and new-type urbanization. Over the twenty-year journey of the China Road Lighting Forum, we have received care and assistance from within and outside the industry and from all sectors of society. We also thank the co-organizers and organizers who have worked hard for the forum over the years, jointly promoting the prosperous development of the road lighting field. 2026 (21st) China Road Lighting Forum This forum takes "Resilience, Livability, Integration, Innovation" as its theme, deeply focusing on key issues such as low-carbon transition paths under the Dual Carbon goals, collaborative construction of smart poles and urban infrastructure, digital operation and maintenance upgrades for road lighting, and iteration of industry standards and quality control. Leaders from relevant national ministries, top industry experts and scholars, and leaders of leading enterprises in the supply chain will be invited to gather. Through policy interpretation, keynote speeches, case sharing, exchanges and discussions, and special training, the forum aims to resolve pain points in industry development, share frontier practical achievements, build an efficient docking platform for government-enterprise collaboration and integration of industry, academia, and research, help improve the level of refined urban management, and empower the quality improvement and efficiency enhancement of smart city construction.
