The 5th International Engineering Construction Supply Chain Exhibition Concludes Successfully in Tianjin

On September 19, 2025, the three-day 5th International Engineering Construction Supply Chain Exhibition came to a successful close at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Tianjin). Themed "Green, Low-Carbon, High-Quality, Serving the International Engineering Construction Supply Chain," this edition created an industry event integrating exhibitions, forum discussions, and supply-demand matchmaking, achieving remarkable results.


Unprecedented exhibition盛况, gathering of professional visitors


The exhibition scope of this edition has been comprehensively upgraded, covering the entire industry chain of the engineering supply chain, with three core exhibition areas: general contracting, materials, and equipment. The exhibition scale reached 12,500 square meters, with nearly 100 high-quality brand enterprises showcasing their latest products and technologies, attracting professional visitors from domestic and overseas engineering construction units, construction companies, design institutes, traders, and research institutions. During the event, the exhibition halls were bustling with people, the negotiation atmosphere was warm, and professionals consulting and exchanging ideas at various booths were endless.

Precise and efficient supply-demand matching, procurement intention amount hits a new high


The biggest highlight of this Exhibition is the achievement of efficient matching between supply and demand sides. According to statistics, the Exhibition invited and gathered more than 200 domestic and international EPC general contractors, covering extensive demands from 12 countries, including 823 batches of demands for projects under planning or construction, 58 batches of professional subcontracting demands, 132 batches of project financing and investment demands, and 1,326 batches of equipment and material procurement demands. The total procurement intention amount reached as high as 87.4 billion RMB, setting a new record for all previous Exhibitions.


Multiple matchmaking meetings between exhibitors and general contractors, as well as with embassies and consulates in China, were successfully held, building an efficient and pragmatic cooperation bridge for overseas and domestic owners, general contractors, and high-quality suppliers, facilitating a large number of cooperation intentions.

High-end Forum sparks wisdom collision, diagnosing industry development trends


During the Exhibition, a series of high-end Forums were held concurrently, becoming an important platform for diagnosing industry development trends. Focusing on hot topics in supply chain innovation such as the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, country-specific market development and cooperation, enterprises going global, and major trends in the steel industry, industry experts and corporate representatives engaged in in-depth exchanges and shared their insights.


Special events such as the 9th National Market Report Conference on Overseas Contracted Projects, the Conference on Cooperation and Development for Chinese Enterprises Going Global, the 5th International Engineering Investment and Financing Case Seminar, and the 5th Overseas Engineering Project Risk Control and Management Forum provided valuable market insights and strategic guidance to attendees, helping Chinese enterprises seize market development opportunities.

Enhanced international influence, deepened global Industry collaboration


The international participation in this Expo has significantly increased, with officials from the embassies of 12 countries stationed in China, including Gabon, Canada, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ecuador, Hungary, Mongolia, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Somalia, Sudan, Zimbabwe, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as representatives from overseas institutions, actively attending the event. This demonstrates the Expo's growing influence and appeal in the global engineering construction sector.

The successful holding of the Expo not only showcased the strong capabilities of China's engineering construction Industry, but also reflected China's responsibility as a major country in promoting the green and low-carbon transformation of the engineering Industry and deepening global Industry collaboration. Through this international platform, resource sharing and innovative synergy in the global engineering field have been further strengthened, contributing Chinese wisdom and strength to painting a new picture of high-quality development for the global engineering Industry.
