"New Quality Leadership, Green Transformation" - 2025 Jiangsu Lighting Electrical Association Annual Conference Successfully Held

The conference was hosted by the Jiangsu Lighting Electrical Association and co-organized by Gelier Digital Technology Co., Ltd. Before the Conference, association leaders accompanied leaders from government departments and national lighting industry organizations, as well as industry experts and consultants, dividing them into four Tasting Officer Groups. They visited the site to learn about new products displayed by enterprises and engaged in exchanges and interactions with enterprise representatives.

The opening ceremony of the Conference was moderated by Shen Ru, Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Jiangsu Lighting Electrical Association. Yu Yanqiu, Chairman of the Jiangsu Lighting Electrical Association; Wang Xuhua, Advisor to the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI) and Vice Chairman of SAC/TC 224; and Gao Fei, Resident Vice Chairman of the China Illuminating Engineering Society, delivered speeches respectively.

Yu Yanqiu, Chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Lighting Electrical Appliances Association, first extended a warm welcome and heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the association to all leaders, experts, and friends from the lighting industry for attending this conference in the ancient capital of Nanjing.

Yu Yanqiu pointed out that since its establishment, the association has always adhered to the purpose of serving the government, the industry, enterprises, and society, playing an important role in promoting the high-quality development of the provincial lighting electrical appliance industry. He paid special tribute to the predecessors of the association and all member units for their long-term contributions and support.

Facing the new stage, Yu Yanqiu emphasized that the new council must: first, adhere to Party building guidance and align with the national 14th Five-Year Plan to continuously improve the association's work; second, strengthen innovation-driven development and accelerate the integrated R&D and application of frontier technologies such as smart lighting, information and communication, the Internet, and artificial intelligence; third, deepen green transformation by promoting healthy, energy-saving, and environmental protection technologies to boost industry and economic development; fourth, optimize the service system by strengthening professional services in standards, talent, and legal affairs; and fifth, enhance international exchanges to help Jiangsu lighting enterprises go global, improve global competitiveness, and create new brilliance together.

This celebration is not only a summary of the association's 25th anniversary, but also a new starting point for凝聚 industry consensus and co-creating a bright future. The association will continue to build a high-quality exchange platform, promote the integrated and coordinated development of the Yangtze River Delta region, and strive hard to realize the industry vision of "Shining Future, Smartly Connecting the World".

Welcome Address by Yu Yanqiu, Chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Lighting Electrical Appliances Association

On behalf of the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI), Wang Xuhua extended warm congratulations on the 25th anniversary achievements of the Jiangsu Lighting Industry Association, and expressed sincere respect and heartfelt gratitude to the leaders, experts, and entrepreneurs in the Jiangsu lighting community who have cared for and supported the development of China's lighting industry.

He pointed out that Jiangsu is an important production base for China's lighting industry, with a long history, significant technological advantages, and complete supporting facilities. It not only hosts two characteristic industrial clusters, the "China Street Light Manufacturing Base" and the "China Luminaire City," but the Jiangsu Provincial Association has also actively promoted the "Digital Lamp Network" development concept, effectively driving the transformation and upgrading of the local lighting industry. He mentioned that although the lighting industry shows resilience, it faces pressure from both domestic and international markets and is at a critical stage of transformation. Trends such as greenization and digitalization, along with the needs of rural revitalization, are injecting new momentum into the industry. He expects the Jiangsu Lighting Association to take its 25th anniversary as a new starting point and make multi-dimensional efforts around the tasks of the "15th Five-Year Plan." The China Association of Lighting Industry will continue to work together to build service platforms and jointly promote high-quality industry development. In her speech, Gao Fei, Resident Vice President of the China Illuminating Engineering Society, first congratulated the successful holding of the annual meeting of the Jiangsu Lighting Industry Association and预祝 the establishment of the new council, thanking member units for their contributions to China's lighting cause. She affirmed the leading role played by the Jiangsu Lighting Industry Association as a platform for exchange between enterprises and scientific and technical workers, including its effectiveness in adhering to Party building guidance, promoting technological innovation, providing government decision-making consultation, cultivating professional talents, and expanding industry markets.

He pointed out that China's lighting industry is currently facing transformation opportunities and challenges, including rising consumer demand, advancements in digitalization, and changes in overseas markets. Gao Fei cited President Xi Jinping's instructions, emphasizing the need to promote high-end, intelligent, and green development of the industry, and to continuously exert efforts in fields such as smart lighting, cultural tourism lighting, and healthy lighting through technological innovation and cross-border integration, thereby achieving high-quality industry development.

Wen Qidong, Executive Deputy Dean and Chief Researcher of Guangdong Guangya Lighting Research Institute, delivered a keynote speech titled "Four New Trends and High Quality in the Lighting Industry under Global Restructuring" as a special invited speaker. Dean Wen provided an in-depth analysis of the profound changes in the lighting industry landscape amid the wave of global restructuring. Starting from industrial development logic, market dynamics evolution, and technology integration trends, he revealed the new stage, new challenges, new patterns, and new concepts in the development of the lighting industry, offering several suggestions on how lighting enterprises can face opportunities and challenges in the new era and pursue a path of high-quality development.

Wang Tian, Co-Dean of Beijing Qingmei Daohe Planning and Design Institute, delivered an excellent speech titled "New Directions for Nightscape Lighting in the Context of Urban Renewal".

Dean Wang explained how integrating "bamboo culture" into the Nankun Mountain Ecological Tourism Area and its surroundings enhances the tourism image. He proposed that urban renewal requires meticulous design and planning to incorporate artistic elements, including lighting, into architecture, landscapes, and other environments. This approach reflects regional cultural characteristics and the spirit of the times, creating urban spaces with unique aesthetic appeal and enhancing the city's attractiveness and competitiveness. He further noted that against the backdrop of deep integration between culture and tourism, urban aesthetics will play an increasingly important role in improving urban quality and overall image.

Wang Jianping, Founder and Design Director of Shanghai Aite Lighting Design Co., Ltd., proposed in his keynote speech "Rethinking Urban Nightscape Lighting Design" that modern urban nightscape lighting should uphold the concept of a "people's city," emphasizing "returning the city to the people." He pointed out that nightscape lighting is not only a means to beautify the city's nighttime image but should also focus on the unity of functionality and humanistic care.

Through multiple practical cases, Wang Jianping demonstrated how low-power, high-aesthetic lighting design can significantly reduce energy consumption and light pollution while meeting functional and aesthetic needs. He proposed that future nightscape lighting design should adhere to the principles of "function first, aesthetics priority, environmental friendliness, and technology empowerment," strengthen the integration of art and technology, and promote lighting design towards a more human-centered and sustainable direction.

This conference focused on the current status and future development trends of the lighting industry; facilitated exchanges, matchmaking, and exhibitions of new products, technologies, processes, and scientific achievements; and featured a series of insightful presentations on themes such as urban renewal, smart lighting, cultural tourism night tours, smart city construction, and innovative enterprise development under new circumstances.

To recognize member enterprises and entrepreneurs who have made outstanding contributions and exerted significant influence on the development of the lighting electrical appliances industry in Jiangsu Province from 2020 to 2024, set industry benchmarks, and promote high-quality industrial development, the Association, in accordance with the "Measures for Commending 'Outstanding Enterprises' and 'Outstanding Entrepreneurs' of the Fifth Session of the Association" and the selection criteria, conducted voluntary applications by enterprises and entrepreneurs, review by the Secretariat, and strict scoring by the Review Committee, ultimately selecting 12 outstanding enterprises and 12 outstanding entrepreneurs. At the Association's annual meeting, awards were presented to the outstanding enterprises and entrepreneurs.

Twenty-five years of elegance, illuminating the future! On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Jiangsu Provincial Lighting Electrical Appliance Association, industry experts, corporate representatives, and guests gathered together to look back on the Association's 25 glorious years, discuss the future, and plan new chapters together.

To express gratitude to all partners for their support of the Jiangsu Lighting Industry Association, a plaque awarding ceremony was held at the beginning of the celebration. The annual meeting co-organizer, Grelux Digital Technology Co., Ltd., was awarded the title of "2025 Strategic Cooperation Unit," and 80 supporting units were awarded the titles of "2025 Special Support Unit" and "2025 Support Unit."

The Award Ceremony for the 8th "Jiangsu Lighting Awards" invited government officials, association leaders, and leaders of social organizations from the national lighting industry to present awards and plaques to the winners of the 8th Jiangsu Lighting Awards in the categories of "Innovation Technology Award," "Quality Product Award," "Green Design Award," and "Low-Carbon Engineering Award." Congratulations to the winning enterprises!

A grand flag handover ceremony for the annual conference co-organizers was also held during the Greer Night. The flag was handed over by Zhu Congli, Chairman of Greer Digital Technology Co., Ltd., to Guo Zhentao, General Manager of Nanjing CEC Panda Lighting Co., Ltd., the co-organizer of the 2026 Association Annual Conference. The 2025 Annual Meeting of the Jiangsu Lighting Electrical Appliances Association, the 25th Anniversary Celebration, and the 8th Jiangsu Lighting Awards Ceremony concluded successfully.

Standing at the historical juncture marking the conclusion of the "14th Five-Year Plan" and the commencement of the "15th Five-Year Plan," the Jiangsu Lighting Electrical Appliances Association, as the largest provincial industry organization in our province with the most members, the most complete Industry / Supply chain, and the greatest industry representativeness and authority, will focus on digital transformation to accelerate the construction of a new digital lighting ecosystem in Jiangsu, promoting the leap of Jiangsu lighting from a "regional brand" to an "international brand." We will strengthen international exchange and cooperation to help enterprises explore markets along the "Belt and Road"; improve the expert database and service system to inject lasting momentum into the high-quality development of the industry.
