On July 18, 2025, the 8th Smart Lighting Forum of 40 People was grandly held at the Qiandeng Lake Hotel in Nanhai, Foshan. In his opening address at the Forum, President Li first sincerely thanked Foshan Lighting for its meticulous preparations and extended a warm welcome to the attendees. He pointed out that the 40-Person Smart Lighting Forum, after eight editions of development, has become an important platform for industry exchange. Facing current opportunities and challenges, he emphasized the innovative value of cross-border integration and looked forward to sparking ideas through in-depth exchanges. The Federation proposed three major development directions for the lighting industry: people-oriented environmentally friendly concepts, empowering light environment value with smart technology, and building an efficient green energy system. In her speech, Professor Hao explored the multidimensional impact of light environments on human health, ecology, and urban governance. She pointed out that dynamic lighting can improve circadian rhythm disorders in enclosed spaces (such as ICUs and hyperbaric oxygen chambers), and shared innovative applications of sound-light therapy in rehabilitation medicine. Meanwhile, Professor Hao's team developed vehicle-mounted rapid detection equipment, spectrum calibration systems, and intelligent control platforms to address urban light pollution, proposing hierarchical control schemes and eco-friendly luminaire designs. Related achievements have been applied in demonstration projects such as Xujiahui Park in Shanghai. In his interpretation of the standard, Dr. Su focused on the background and evolution of the Matter standard and SILA’s localization efforts. Developed by the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA), Matter’s latest version is 1.4.1, supporting secure cross-ecosystem interoperability for various smart home devices, covering scenarios such as lighting, home appliances, and energy management. SILA, in collaboration with CSA, released the group standard T/SILA 023—2025, joining nearly 90 enterprises to promote lighting interoperability, providing development resources, testing tools, and training programs to help Chinese manufacturers expand their markets. The standard emphasizes software-hardware decoupling, security, and multi-protocol support, aiming to break down ecosystem barriers and enhance user experience.

Mr. Liu shared innovative practices of Xiaodu's AI lighting solutions. Mr. Zhang elaborated on BWEE Technology's innovative practices as a pioneer of full-color ambient light. Presentation Topic: Research on Arbitrary Human-Vehicle-Home Lighting Environment Systems and Healthy Lighting Human Factors Ergonomics
In his report, Professor Dai systematically elaborated on frontier issues in healthy light environments. He proposed that healthy lighting must balance visual, physiological, and psychological dimensions, focusing on three core topics: spatial perceived brightness, circadian lighting, and emotional regulation. Through multi-channel spectrum control experiments, the research team confirmed for the first time that ipRGC cells have a positive impact on spatial brightness perception, and quantified the non-linear relationship between eye illuminance and spatial perceived brightness under different color temperatures. Regarding circadian lighting, Professor Dai pointed out that daytime requires high circadian stimulation of 250 m-EDI, while nighttime should be below 10 m-EDI, emphasizing the importance of dynamic spectrum and light distribution optimization to balance the contradiction between circadian effects and energy saving. In terms of emotional regulation, the team found through experiments with 768 participants that pastel light (especially yellow-green hues) significantly enhances pleasure and relaxation at an illuminance of 150 lx, providing a scientific basis for healthy lighting design.

Mr. Zhao introduced the innovative value and application achievements of the SILA-EMN (Smart Building Edge Hybrid Networking) standard. By leveraging multi-physical layer fusion technologies (such as BLE, DALI, PLC, etc.), this standard addresses the complexities of networking and high commissioning costs in traditional smart buildings, achieving "no manual configuration" active optimization and "god's eye view" network visualization. Relying on a dual-layer AI framework (edge-side cluster intelligence + cloud neural networks), the system can automatically detect device anomalies, generate maps, and support remote commissioning. Practical cases show that a 35,000 square meter building required only one person for 7 hours to complete commissioning, with an average energy saving rate of 88%. Technologically, NIO has broken through the bottleneck of domestic production for high-end lighting, adopting pixel headlights with 25,600 independent light control chips, and developing patented technologies such as headlight recognition and light recovery. She pointed out that KeFan, as a designer-preferred brand, skillfully employs 13 of the 50 major design techniques, such as main-light-free design and hidden light strips, to create unique spatial atmospheres with light and shadow, enhancing the层次感 (layering) and aesthetic high-end customization feel of homes, thereby creating unique artistic living spaces for customers.

Mr. Lin highlighted how Tianyi IoT drives the intelligent and green transformation of the lighting industry through technological innovation. Based on its self-developed distributed IoT operating system (CTWing OS) and AIoT platform, integrating technologies such as 5G, AI, and edge computing, the company has created an integrated "Sensing, Connectivity, Intelligence, Integration, and Green" solution. In the lighting sector, Tianyi IoT proposes three major R&D directions: energy saving, health, and intelligence. Through the "Tidal Energy-Saving Brain," it achieves adaptive dimming and tunable white, circadian lighting, and other functions. It has implemented over 3,000 green projects nationwide, covering scenarios such as government, warehousing, and IDC. Finally, the conference featured abundant lucky draw sessions and the Foshan Lighting Night, with a lively atmosphere of on-site exchanges, showcasing the vitality and potential of the smart lighting field.

Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on new opportunities in human-vehicle-home Healthy lighting, dual-carbon goals and cross-boundary thinking, AI lighting training centers and industry services, pointing out that Healthy lighting, cross-industry collaboration, and AI agents will become new directions for the Industry.
