Exhibition Introduction


As an important direction for cultivating new quality productive forces, new energy storage is a key technology for China to build a new energy system, especially a new power system, and was included in the Government Work Report for the first time this year. As a new track for the development of future industries that China is striving to layout, Sichuan actively promotes the development of new energy storage, successively releasing relevant policies such as the "Sichuan Province 14th Five-Year Energy Development Plan", "Sichuan Province 14th Five-Year Renewable Energy Development Plan", and "Sichuan Province 14th Five-Year Power Development Plan", strengthening research, demonstration, and industrial application of new energy storage technologies such as large-capacity electrochemical and compressed gas storage, and including the photovoltaic and energy storage Industry in the action plan for quality improvement and doubling of six advantageous industries and key Supply chain for support. To further cultivate, layout, and promote the full-chain development of new energy storage, Sichuan has also included new energy storage, green hydrogen, and high-efficiency solar cells in 25 new Industry tracks for key support and incentives, with the Industry scale and innovation development level consistently ranking among the top in the country. It is expected that by 2025, the scale of new energy storage in Sichuan will reach over 2 million kilowatts, ushering in unprecedented opportunities for the upgrading and development of the energy storage Industry.


To fully leverage Sichuan's advantages in the entire supply chain of new energy storage, solar photovoltaics, lithium batteries, vanadium batteries, hydrogen energy, and hydro-wind-solar energy, continuously strengthen energy technology innovation, promote the high-quality development of the energy storage Industry, and accelerate the cultivation of new quality productive forces, the "3rd China International Energy Storage Industry Expo" (hereinafter referred to as "Sichuan International Energy Storage Expo") is scheduled to be held from May 15-17, 2025, at the Chengdu Century City New International Convention and Exhibition Center.


The Sichuan Electric Power Exhibition was founded in 2003 and has successfully held 21 sessions. Approved by the Ministry of Commerce of China and guided by the China Electricity Council, it is jointly organized by the Electric Power Industry Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (abbreviated as "Electric Power CCPIT", a branch of CCPIT in the electric power industry under the dual leadership of CCPIT and CEC, with its functions undertaken by the International Cooperation Department of CEC) and Chengdu Zhenwei Shizhan Exhibition Co., Ltd., with support from the Sichuan Electric Power Industry Association. It is an international and professional grand event for the electric power and energy industry.


The Sichuan International Energy Storage Exhibition is an important part of the Sichuan Electric Power Exhibition. With the theme "New Quality Pioneers · Storage Powers the Future", this exhibition covers an area of 30,000㎡, expecting over 1,000 exhibiting companies and more than 50,000 professional visitors. Through conferences and exhibitions, it focuses on technological innovations and industrial development achievements across the entire energy storage supply chain. It centrally displays new materials, products, equipment, technologies, and solutions in various links of the supply chain for energy storage, new power systems, solar PV, wind power, hydropower, hydrogen energy, and charging/swapping, vigorously promoting innovation, upgrading, and high-quality development of the entire energy storage industry chain, continuously converting industrial resource advantages into economic advantages, helping enterprises expand markets, and achieving mutual benefit and win-win results.

Exhibition Highlights


  1. Successfully held for 21 sessions, the Sichuan Energy Exhibition has been fully upgraded. Central state-owned and state-controlled enterprises in the power and energy sector, such as the five major and six minor power generation groups, two grid companies, and two construction groups, showcase together. Over 6,000 well-known enterprises participate, gathering more than 1,000 sci-tech innovation products, jointly drawing the blueprint for the energy storage industry;

5. Based on the “new highland of China’s energy storage industry”, boosted by industry policies, with over 30,000 m² exceeding historical scale, fully showcasing the charm of the first professional exhibition of energy storage equipment technology in Southwest China;

6. Strong support from hundreds of heavyweight guests, over 10 forums and supporting activities to uncover potential business opportunities, with “3+365 days” all-weather efficient and precise matchmaking, helping to tap into the trillion-yuan southwest energy storage market;

7. Coverage by a promotional matrix with nearly 30 million exposures, interviews and reports by over 100 industry media, multi-dimensional marketing to expand the exhibition’s brand effect, achieving simultaneous online and offline customer acquisition.

Supporting Activities


During the expo, supporting activities such as the "2025 China Energy Storage Industry Chain Collaborative Innovation and Development Conference", parallel forums, new product launches, resource matchmaking, and award ceremonies will be held. Focusing on industry hotspots including the construction of new power systems and new energy systems, new energy storage, green intelligent computing, integrated water-wind-solar-storage-hydrogen, green energy and fuel cells, and charging/swapping, authoritative experts in the power and energy field will be invited for in-depth exchanges. They will discuss new technologies, models, and formats in green energy, aiding the digital, intelligent, and green transformation of the power and energy industry to achieve high-quality development.

Energy Storage Technologies and Materials

1. Physical energy storage technologies and components (compressors, pumps, storage tanks, etc.) and materials, such as compressed air energy storage, flywheel energy storage, gravity energy storage, pumped hydro storage, thermal/cold storage, molten salt thermal storage, etc.;

2. Lithium/Sodium-ion batteries: lithium/sodium-ion batteries of various material systems, solid-state batteries, aqueous batteries, and related battery materials;

3. Flow batteries and materials (proton exchange membranes, electrolytes, bipolar plates, electrodes), such as all-vanadium flow batteries, iron-chromium flow batteries, zinc-bromine flow batteries, zinc-iron flow batteries, all-iron flow batteries, and organic flow batteries;

2. Energy storage inverters (PCS), energy storage cells and PACKs, Battery Management Systems (BMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), battery thermal management (air cooling, liquid cooling), etc.;

3. Fire protection equipment and extinguishing agents for energy storage (detection and warning, fire prevention and control devices, electrical fire monitoring, DC insulation detection, perfluorohexanone, aerosols, etc.);

Solar Photovoltaic Exhibition Area: photovoltaic grid-connected energy storage power generation systems, photovoltaic off-grid energy storage power generation systems, photovoltaic hybrid grid/off-grid energy storage power generation systems, microgrid energy storage systems, photovoltaic engineering and systems, photovoltaic production equipment, photovoltaic cells, photovoltaic modules and components, etc.


Wind Energy Equipment Exhibition Area: wind turbine generators, blade molds, gearbox transmission systems, electrical equipment and control systems for grid connection, pitch and yaw systems, braking systems, hydraulic systems, cooling, lubrication and lightning protection, bearings, main shafts, couplings, wind farm development/construction and operation, etc.


Hydrogen Energy Equipment Exhibition Area: Technologies and equipment for hydrogen production, purification, liquefaction, etc.; technologies and equipment for hydrogen storage and transportation such as hydrogen storage and injection; hydrogen refueling stations, hydrogen fuel cells, fuel cell vehicles, and other hydrogen energy applications.


Hydropower Equipment Exhibition Area: Hydropower stations, auxiliary power station equipment, water turbines and ancillary equipment, dam monitoring, underwater robots, etc.


Charging and Battery Swapping Exhibition Area: Electric vehicle charging equipment and accessories, construction and operation solutions for charging stations, etc.

International companies: $3,000 per unit

Booth equipment includes: 1m high header, display panels, fascia board, one table and two chairs, two spotlights, carpet, and one 220V power socket.
