Notice on Holding the 19th China Road Lighting Forum

To all relevant organizations:

The "China Road Lighting Forum," organized by the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI), has been successfully held for 18 sessions since its inception in 2005, playing a positive role in promoting technological innovation, energy saving and emission reduction, and industrial upgrading in the field of road lighting. As the lighting industry moves towards a new stage of high-quality development, "high efficiency, environmental protection, low carbon, and intelligence" have become development trends. Adhering to innovation-driven development, guided by market demand, and accelerating the deep integration of new-generation information technology with the industry are the key tasks for the current development of the road lighting sector. To better implement the national dual-carbon strategy and accelerate the implementation of policies related to smart city construction, the 19th China Road Lighting Forum in 2024 will be held in Suzhou this March under the theme "Illuminating Smart Cities, Facilitating Green Development." The conference details are as follows:

(I) Industry Development and Outlook

1. Analysis and forecast of the current development status of the lighting industry;

2. Relevant policies and regulations in the field of Road lighting construction and management;

3. Relevant policy plans for smart city construction.

(II) Development of relevant standards and technologies in the field of road lighting/urban lighting at home and abroad

1. Interpretation of standards related to road lighting products and quality analysis;

2. Interpretation of standards and analysis of issues related to road lighting design, construction, and application;

3. Application effects and standardization of intelligent control technology in the field of road lighting.

(III) Coordinated development of road lighting and urban construction management

1. Unified planning of road lighting and nightscape lighting;

2. Road lighting and smart city construction;

3. Research on lighting design and application for urban tunnels;

4. Case sharing on road lighting maintenance, electrical safety, and operational management.

(4) Sharing of advanced technologies/products and excellent project cases

1. Applications in the field of road lighting;

2. Introduction to outstanding domestic and international road lighting project cases;

3. Application cases of green low-carbon technologies and innovative products in road lighting and urban construction;

4. Discussion on business management, development strategies, and technological innovation for road lighting enterprises;

5. Discussion on new and renovated road lighting projects and capital operation models.

V. Scope of Attendees:

(1) Leaders from government departments at all levels responsible for urban construction/lighting urban planning, municipal management, energy supply, and technological promotion;

(2) Heads of urban/road lighting management offices, stations, and construction client units at all levels;

(3) Experts and scholars from institutions engaged in urban/road lighting research, testing, standards, and Certification;

(4) Chief engineers, lead engineers, and electrical lighting managers for large and medium-sized road engineering projects from municipal and traffic design institutes and units;

(5) General Managers, Chief Engineers, and Designers of Urban/Road Lighting Engineering Companies;

(6) General Managers, Chief Engineers, and R&D Engineers of manufacturers of urban/road lighting products and equipment;

(7) Heads of relevant industry associations, societies, and chambers of commerce.

VI. Call for Papers for the Forum Publication:

During the conference, the China Association of Lighting Industry (CALI) will publish its journal "China Lighting" Special Issue on Road Lighting. The forum special issue is scheduled for publication on March 15, 2024. The submission deadline is March 5. Please send submissions to: dengml@cali-light.com.

7. Conference Fees:

Conference fee: 1500 yuan/person. Representatives from urban lighting management units, power supply bureaus, design institutes, clients, engineering companies, etc., are exempt from the conference fee.
