The 28th GILE will take place from June 9 to 12, 2023, at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou. Held concurrently with the Guangzhou International Electrical Building Technology Exhibition (GEBT), the event expands into Hall D for the first time, in addition to the existing Halls A and B. The total exhibition area increases to 220,000 square meters, covering 22 halls, with a comprehensive upgrade of the lineup. From now on, GILE enters a new era, embarking on a new journey of development. In the future, spatial design innovates through digitalization, scenes, experience, and sustainable development; AIoT technology leaps forward, making interaction technology simpler, information technology smarter, and computing technology limitless; new-generation consumption patterns change lifestyle trends and aesthetics. These changes also bring exciting opportunities to the lighting industry. This year's GILE, themed "Light + Future," goes beyond what is seen, working with the industry to ride the waves and forge ahead.

In the new era, lighting technology spans are widening and cross-industry collaborations are expanding. The 2023 exhibition not only gathered enterprises from the entire lighting supply chain but also extended its technical displays to AIoT technology, platform technology, sensing technology, new energy lighting and energy storage technology, and new media art; and in collaboration with GEBT, it extended into the smart building and smart home market sectors on the application side, presenting a one-stop platform that helps buyers in the engineering project sector understand market opportunities for integrated lighting technologies in smart buildings and homes and establish strategic partnerships .
The two exhibitions will be distributed across 22 halls in Zones A, B, and D, organized by different specialized zones and themes. Light + Energy (Hall 19.1) and Light + City (Hall 20.1)
New energy is a national emerging industry and the direction of a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation. Hall 19.1 will establish exclusive zones for new energy lighting and energy storage, integrating cross-industry supply chain resources. It creatively brings together project investors, purchasers, product manufacturers, project planners, and designers to form a closed-loop supply chain, enhancing the exhibition effect. In conjunction with the landscape and smart streetlight displays in Hall 20.1, the themes "Light + City" and "Light + New Energy" merge.
