Research areas: plant photobiology, plant factory production technology, rapid breeding technology in plant factories, vegetable physiological ecology, and principles and technologies for high-quality and efficient vegetable production. Published over 100 academic papers on light regulation of vegetable crops and efficient facility cultivation. In recent years, led key national R&D projects including "R&D of Intelligent Production Technology and Equipment for Greenhouse Hydroponic Leafy Vegetables" and "Research on Environmental Protection Models and Precision Control Technology and Equipment for Vertical Planting in Plant Factories", as well as Guangdong provincial key R&D projects such as "Research and Demonstration of Key Technologies for Precision Control of Facility Horticultural Crops".

With over 10 years of experience in lighting product development and application, has achieved fruitful results, holds multiple invention and design patents, and possesses profound understanding and rich experience in the lighting market, especially in high-power power supply applications.

Honored with the 22nd China Patent Excellence Award, the 23rd China Patent Excellence Award, Shenzhen Youth Science and Technology Award, Shenzhen Science and Technology Progress Award, Shenzhen Patent Award, China National Light Industry Council Technical Invention Award, First Prize for Scientific and Technological Paper of China Nonferrous Metals Industry, and awards for outstanding master's and doctoral dissertations. Recognized as an Outstanding Postdoctoral Fellow in Shenzhen and a Shenzhen Local-Level Leading Talent.

Associate Researcher at the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences; Director of the Plant Factory R&D Center; Director of Fujian Zhongke Biology Co., Ltd.; Deputy Dean of the Photobiology Industry Research Institute.
