Smart Lighting Development Forum in the Era of Dual Carbon
As global climate change poses a major threat to human society, more and more countries are elevating "carbon neutrality" to a national strategy, proposing a vision of a carbon-free future. In 2020, China, based on the intrinsic requirements for promoting sustainable development and the responsibility of building a community with a shared future for mankind, announced the goal and vision of striving to reach peak carbon emissions before 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality before 2060. Reducing carbon emissions is no longer a future tense, but a present continuous.
Facing the "dual carbon" goals, whether it is promoting carbon reduction in industries and enterprises or encouraging people's daily green work and life, the implemented scenarios are mostly in cities, making the construction of smart cities imperative. As an important component of smart city construction, smart lighting will also face new propositions and embrace broader development space in helping cities achieve low-carbon development. Smart streetlights, which integrate multiple functions such as smart lighting, video surveillance, environmental monitoring, information release, and shared charging, will also serve as infrastructure for the co-construction and sharing of urban resources, becoming one of the important measures for cities to reduce carbon emissions.
Supporting Dual Carbon, Illuminating the Future
To promote the development of the smart lighting industry under the dual-carbon economy, drive innovation and application of energy-saving and emission-reduction technologies for lighting products such as smart poles, and create economic and social value with the light of cities, the Sichuan Lighting Electrical Association and Sichuan Dena Exhibition Co., Ltd. will jointly host the [Smart Lighting Development Forum in the Dual-Carbon Era & Sichuan Intelligent Manufacturing Exhibition of Multi-functional Smart Poles] at the 2022 Tianfu Lighting Expo from April 27-29, 2022.
This event is guided by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology and the Sichuan Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and supported by China Mobile 5G Research Institute and Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. It aims to showcase the outstanding achievements of Sichuan's top smart pole manufacturing enterprises and discuss the "green" new development of smart lighting in the form of "exhibition + conference".

The event features three themed exhibitions: a finished products exhibition hall for Sichuan's intelligent manufacturing, an achievements exhibition hall (sharing case studies of smart light pole implementations and displaying market report results), and an application and experience hall for smart lighting scenarios, collectively presenting the advantages and technical achievements of Sichuan's smart lighting industry.
